Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
Love and best wishes, Claire (ex pat) Berlin ❤
Hearing all of my Irish brothers and sisters talking about why they love doing what they do.....made me insanely proud (and admittedly emotional). Keep up the amazing work!!!!!!
Absolutely fudging brilliant, my darlings!
I deeply respect all that you do!❤❤❤
I'm absolutely in love with the Irish accent
Punishment for prank calls should include four hours listening to the hardest calls they get with the important information censored out.
And some hospital visits to the people who really did have their lives saved because of calling 999 explaining that they could have had to wait while you had to check the hoex call out.
And force these people to watch intensive care doctors call people's deaths due to the ambulances being held up, and then writing nice apology letters to their victims' families, as well as paying a massive fine and then seeing what it's like to not receive help when they finally, actually need help.
IDK what the rules are like in Ireland, however, here in the USA, you can and should be charged/arrested for making phoney calls to emergency services! Child or adult, it should not matter!
Force them to work in public service responding to fake calls.
Listening to those calls would only egg them on. Send them to work in a busy morgue for an hour or an ER department for a shift.
Interesting to see the defib in action
Amazing how the EKG Maschine just before the shock given from his internal defib told check the patient and so he got the shock..
Take note from the more experienced amoung you - BE KIND
God Bless all the Paramedics and Thank you for saving lives and just caring. 🙏👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. 🚑
Huge respect to all who work for the emergency services. I'm hooked on this particular documentary series.
The people taking the calls and the paramedics are so lovely
So many years in emergency care service myself, it always amazed me how I would deal with certain tragic calls. During an emergency call I’m handling it with perfect perfection, and think I’m handling it just fine. But afterwards pulling into my driveway I would bust out into tears even though I thought I was fine. Your brain protects u during incidents but it catches up with u. Even going to the store after a severe run on the life squad, I would try to carry on as usual, but would feel like.... if only everyone would know what I just saw.... what I just dealt with. I imagine that soldiers go thru this too. It’s really amazing how our brains handle situations.
Oh I’m sorry to imply that what I went thru was comparable to a soldier, their lives are endangered which would make it 100x worse.
@@lexistapleton687 don't apologize at all. what you go through is very comparable to soldiers in the way that it effects your brain. trauma is trauma, at the end of the day.
m t thank u so much for your comment
Yes, it's true. We had this also thrice in our family. Thanks for your service.
Not allowed to be alone at 13? In Canada you can babysit other kids when you’re 12!
I would need to take a break after taking the call from the woman having the miscarriage
Bless all of you! You are incredible, yoh are all hero's
Please create a Season 2 of Paramedics...thanks
Major respect for these first responders. This series in incredibly informing and heartwrenching. Not always easy to watch. I wasn't able to save a man from a heart attack, it used to weigh on me.
I'm just finding these videos. Love them!
Please post more episodes
What an excellent series! Thank you for uploading :)
thank you for sharing.
Law makers should focus to this problem. A severe punishment should be imposed . Phone numbers should be restore and the audio for the investigators.
My uncle was working as a fire chief when he was responding to a hoax call and his driver had an accident and hit a tree. My uncle died in the accident.
Will there be more episodes???
by divorce, do they mean that they were partners or is it "divorce" in the fact that they don't work together anymore due to different skill levels?
Why this video has not that much views
That’s sad
I'd love to go to Ireland and run on the ambulance with them. Like an exchange program, I'll go over there and they send one to the U.S.
it must be SO different over there. nobody worried about ambulance bills and such. amazing system.
@@bt-jz7ki Where are you from?
I raise my glass to the CFR - Community First Responder, i was one in Australia, and i was dispatched to a few hot MI's
1:40 Ooo a one night stand I see
I wonder how they would feel if it was their own family and something bad happened?
Let everyone live happily and independently ! no extra we or extra us more !
39:38 did anyone realized the spider in the background?
Lies
Nuisance callers should be made to apologize face to face to the injured or sick person who didn’t get an ambulance faster because the crew was diverted to his BS call.
With caller ID can't you track the hoax callers?
can someone tweak the ato-subtitles
I am going to tell you how to stop the bleeeding feckin love that
OMG R.I.P

32:10 people allways calling in the wrong moments.
Hoax callers are horrible selfish people! I do wish they could be blacklisted from emergency services calls. They deserve to suffer and it's their own fault if they die. Crying wolf is worse than low.
As a child I always dreamed of being a paramedic. I still so. But being realistic I'm not smart enough so I'll do what I'm smart at - politics 😀😢
I love ur channel i was the first comment
Hello
OMG

That call didn't end well. She ended up losing the child. She was 15 weeks pregnant.

Aspirin has an anti-clotting affect on blood in veins going to and from the heart into the body. It can start the process of breaking up a clot during a heart attack and helping the blood flow more easily until help gets to the person. Many people take a dose of baby aspirin daily to aid with circulation.
I was told when you are a paramedic ya gotta be fit as ya do a fitness test etc and if ya can't pass the fitness test which ya get tested on every yr then ya don't become a paramedic .... How does she do it? (Lady at the start)
