Thank you for your reply. I will recheck all the wires and connections. The copy part was working good until scanner lamp got dropped on the carpet during reassembly. The lamp lights up during starting the printer and I can see white red and green lights flashing then stops after printer is completing it’s start up. Don’t know if this n means anything. Do you have both of the parts lamp and ribbon? Should I try one part first or both. Also do you have any advice about remanufactured ink. Hp has stopped making the ink cartridges 02 I have had to get remanufactured ink and had some problems with it. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help
Thank you for the video. This trick didn't work for me unfortunately. But I noticed that when you align your arrows, your paper seems to be inserted by around 5mm further. For some reason, my paper seems to load short - even though the arrows are lined up. I found that if I just give the paper a slight push with my finger tips - the wheels then grab it OK. I have to do this one sheet at a time - so its a bit of a pain, but at least it works.
I don’t know what happened. I can see my reply to your reply. I probably didn’t do something right. I have a hp c6150 printer. I took it somewhat apart to have access to the white lifter bars as one had a crack and wasn’t moving correctly. Your video was a great help. It is printing good. However when I make a copy it is very light. Making a copy from the automatic feeder there is a very dark band in the middle. The light comes on and it moves copy is not working correctly. Concerned I might not have ribbon feed attached correctly or light unit got damaged. I had it ready to go back in laying in scanner bed and the lid got bumped Without the top and no weight it flung open and the scanner unit went on the carpet. I am thinking this is the problem but wasn’t sure if I needed the ribbon connection or main mother board.
Hi. Yes, most likely the ribbon wire is not connected properly or is damaged somewhere. Make sure it is connected fully in the main board as well. Worst case could be a bad wire or bad scanner lamp.
How do I contact you. I either need you to refurbish my printer or a part or order some parts from you. Not sure of parts to order. Is your store in wheat ridge co still open.
i still have my hp envy 5660 and it's been fine for years. now i get the message "the photo tray is blocked. please adjust tray and try again." not sure what the means but after doing everything i found on you tube to fix the problem, the message came up the next time i used the printer, i hit OK and it printed. now i'm getting the message again but i don't find anything wrong.
Hello. You may have selected a wrong paper size or paper type. When sending a print job, make sure you select plain paper type and regular paper size, such as letter or a4, etc.
@@303electronics thanks for your reply. my settings are all correct and always have been. i believe it's just a bad notification that i can't get rid of. it comes on as soon as i turn on the printer.
Didn't work for me either. It seems that my paper doesn't go in all the way - seems to stop about 5mm short of where it needs to be in the tray. So, I just push the sheet of paper in using my finger tips. The wheels are then able to grab it - and then it prints OK. I do this one sheet at a time - so its not ideal, but its a work-around solution.
@@nowhereman5119 ruclips.net/video/pCnjSoZI2NA/видео.html this solution worked for me like a charm. Sometimes it takes more than one paper but this occurs rarely. Try it out.
Hi. Could you help?? Great video I'm wandering if you could help me with some advice for a similar issue on a epson Sx600? I could give you more details (maybe a short video) much appreciated your help! 👏
I was about to trash my printer, but your video saved it. Thank you
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VERY CLEAR EXPLANATION. It really got me out of trouble.
You're welcome! Thank you very much for the feedback!
@@303electronics Same here, worked like a charm. Thank you!
I turned it on its side, touched the wheels a few times to see if they were dirty and then it just started working again! Thanks
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad it worked. Have a great day!
You are very good. Nicely done.
Thank you, very kind of you! Have a great day!

Do you have the ribbon wire and the scanner bulb unit?
For HP Photosmart C6150, I have only the scanner lamp. I do not have the ribbon wire. Here's the link for the scanner:
