She always spoke Japanese in the Japanese Pokemon series and sang in Japanese, but I get to hear her sing in English for the first time. Ash became the very best, like no one ever was! Never thought I'd ever hear her actually perform this theme song, but here we are! As much as I like the original Japanese theme song Mezase Pokémon Master, let's be honest...the English theme song is far superior. It is THE anime theme song. It never fails to give me goosebumps. The English theme song just awakens a spirit that doesn't compare, and you both hit it out of the park! 今まで見た中で間違いなく最高のポケモン動画の 1 つです! ありがとう！
meh. 😂 the original japanese anime has mostly good opening songs, while the English dub disappointingly only has this one and a few just-okay ones up to the first Diamond & Pearl theme. Everything went downhill after that. or rather straight down in a 90-degree angle instead of a slope.
@@raykyogrou0358 I feel like this is the best English theme, and the best Japanese theme is either OK! or Type Wild. All of them fairly early on.
@@raykyogrou0358 The Japanese openings are just as good as the English ones, But I do agree that The Pokemon Theme Song from Season 1, Pokemon World from Season 2, The Johto Journey from Season 3 are the best ones (Season 4 re-did the first season song and then Season 5 had Master Quest). Whereas The Japan ones, my goodness each one was a banger, despite the second season one being more tropical, before Alola was even a thing.
