Much thanks to you the host for sharing this and for your positive reaction to my absolute favorite musical obsession, SCARDUST, Noa Gruman, & Hellscore! They, all, are amazingly talented and this entire song/video/performance shows just that!
The enthusiastic, monster bass player is Orr Didi. He & Noa are the principal composers & lyricists in the band and oh my what great music they are making together! But, besides the compositions & arrangements & production, what makes it all so much more epic is the other main members of the band, the string quartet, Noa’s one-of-a-kind choir, and in this particular case, Patty Gurdy, and it all just exploded in this beautiful gem! And, to think it took two years for this to even happen….just, WOW!
And, you’ve just scratched the surface with these insanely talented artists that have been cranking out spectacular symphonic progressive metal with their first release, the EP “Shadow,” their first full album, “Sands of Time,” and this their latest, “Strangers,” all stellar in their own right! You should definitely dive deeper into their rousing catalog.
Also, from a tease in a recent interview, Noa stated that SCARDUST are currently working on their next project, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us, next……

Bless you! A great deal of in depth listening and thoughts.
Scardust released two albums, Sands of Time and Stranger. No sure when the third will be officially announced. Hellscore is the metal acapella choir of Noa, the singer and creator of Scardust :) And indeed, they have lots of music videos, most of which were created by Noa herself and her sisters (who are also in Hellscore).
Those live Nightwish covers come from a recent show Scardust performed. It was solely dedicated for Nightwish as a homage, and so they invited several friends from other bands on stage. Hopefully the entire thing will be released in the future.
And Patty is a family in heart, her story of friendship with Noa is a miracle.
The Concrete Cages video was delayed for two years due to the pandemic, and so was Patty and Scardust long planned show in Israel. But this year both were made possible, and the show was also lived streamed.

🇫🇮🤘I knew that you'd like this song with Noa's older sister playing the violin & her younger sister standing out as a member of the Hellscore choir. Orr Didi not only plays the bass, but he has been involved in composing their music from the start together with Noa. To really appreciate Noa's versatility as a vocalist, you should listen to these songs:
    1. Scardust - Dials (Official Music Video) ruclips.net/video/i3vayC_Bi00/видео.html (From the 2017 debut album "Sands of Time".)
    2. Scardust - Shards (Lyric Video) ruclips.net/video/NApZQD8hLgU/видео.html (A 13 minutes long masterpiece from the 2015 EP "Shadow".)
    3. Paradise Lost - Symphony X Acappella cover by Noa Gruman ruclips.net/video/pPg3Dyw2_0k/видео.html with everything you can hear being created by her voice.

The bassist Orr Didi's stage presence reminds me of Gunnar Thomsen, the bassist of TYR

Hello my friend. I don't know why I didn't see this until now. I do subscribe to you. This is my 3rd band I support. I follow Patty from time to time and this got me hooked. I actually saw the Patty Gurdy Scardust concert live stream from Isreal. The vibe was so awesome. Like they concured covid! A lot of history with this. Let me say that the Isreal crowd is infectious. So cool. Hope you do more Scardust. Don't know how much or deep on the progressive side you go, they do go progressive. I recommend Arrowhead from their Sands of Time Album and Sands of Time is just beautiful. Tantibus from their first EP is progressive and I love Tantibus II from their current Strangers album. Do Gone very cool and Break the Ice. Noa writes and Directs Hellscore. Do the Slipnot cover of Hellscore or do For Who the Bell Tolls Metallica. Accapella. The family of Scardust is so very cool and creative. Hope to see more my friend. Loved your reaction. Till next time. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed.🌹❤️🤘

Cheers Kenneth! I was waiting for you to show up. Since you're into metal music, I think you'll enjoy this 15 minutes long medley: 50 YEARS OF HEAVY METAL (feat. Anthony Vincent, Nik Nocturnal, 2SICH, Krimh & More!) ruclips.net/video/QTAfgQOd20I/видео.html

@@tarmotyyri6733 🍻 my brother. I'm always late to the party. Lol that was very cute. I'm always amazed at today's technology that allows everyone to collaborate from all over. Sure wish I had that in the 1970s and 1980s when I played. Think that's why you see a lot of young players Excell. Just for fun. With the holidays coming, here's a very cute version to one of my favorite holiday songs. You may have heard this, or not. Peace my friend. God Speed. Be well. ❤️ 🌹🤘

I think Noa was using a style of singing called "Scatting" popular with the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, if I am wrong please someone let me know.

@Bridget McCracken, you are correct, it is “Scatting,” and I’m not sure there is anything this otherworldly vocal acrobat, Noa Grumman, can’t do and do it amazingly, well!

@@rexatkins9264 100% agree. So many make a huge deal about Floor Jansen, but in my humble opinion Noa does everything Floor can plus more 😊

@@bridgetmccracken1381 I love Floor and she is a wonderful, wonderful talent, and a lot of her fans get quite defensive about your point, but I can’t disagree with you, at all, on this one! Noa has lower lows & higher highs, more than a full octave vocal range greater than Floors. Noa’s agility and command of her “instrument” is off the charts and she can do so much more with her voice than most other vocalists in this genre, or any other rock genre, in my opinion. I literally cry with joy every time I hear her sing. She did get online training from Floor, but my understanding is it was mostly working with her for her harsh vocals & confidence with it, which Noa’s are utterly brutal & beautiful ~ “Brutiful.” And a lot has been made about Noa’s & Scardust’s Nightwish covers comparing them, which I think Noa’s performances (and the band & choir) have been amazingly spot-on, but what I would really like to see is if ANYONE could sing Noa’s parts on her own songs in Scardust?!?!? I am absolutely over the moon in love with them all! 🖤

@@rexatkins9264 She has captivated me with her talent, the whole band has! I think Floor is good, but I am not captivated by her voice. I knew about Noa doing lessons with her and the old expression "The student has surpassed the teacher" comes to mind 🙂
