- Inside A paradise In Kampala where Ethiopians, Eritreans and Somalis Live in Uganda.
I interacted with Eritrean girl who is studying English in one of the institutes in Kampala Uganda and met with several other people different countries and shared their experiences living in Uganda.
I visited the local spot where Ethiopians, Eritreans and Somalis come to chill and relax, I tried out their food and the Ethiopian traditional coffee prepared by an Ethiopian lady.
Join me and my other colleague @Harrietthetraveller who later joined in and also tried out the Eritrean food and made a different side of this area in her vlog. Kindly Check her out

Hello brother keep it up am watching your streaming from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 thanks for sharing my lovely Ethiopian brothers and sister's Uganda is a peaceful country with lovely people ❤❤
Thank you so much 💙🤗
Thank you, Joel, for uploading this video and sharing your experience of exploring this area. It is clear that you were trying Sudanese food for the first time, specifically the Sudanese peanut dish with spices, vegetables like tomatoes, onions, arugula, cheese, and sesame oil, commonly known as or "foul Mosllah or Mazboot ." As the way of eating foul was new to you, you tried to follow the lead of the Sudanese young man, who showed you the correct way-tearing small pieces of bread to scoop up and eat the foul. I was delighted that you introduced us to this Sudanese restaurant, where they prepare foul in the traditional Sudanese way, cooking it in a special pot called a "Gidra," which ensures perfect doneness and keeps it warm. The chef then adds spices, vegetables, and grated cheese to taste, finishing it off with a drizzle of sesame oil from a bottle with small holes in the cap for controlled pouring.
It is fascinating that they even offer "Fatta" in this restaurant, a traditional dish where pieces of bread are placed in a bowl, topped with foul broth, whole foul beans, spices, vegetables, and a drizzle of oil. It is meant to be savored and eaten with your hands or a spoon.
Thank you again for sharing!
Well explained. I hope he reads your comment. Very informative about the food. How it is made and how you eat it. I wished I had been there so I could have explained it to him. He very polite and humbled person.
Well said!
Wow! Thank you for enlightening 😊
Ugandans should get special treatment when they visit Eritrea 🇪🇷 like vip bc they deserve it!!!the most kind and respectful people in this planet ❤❤❤❤
Eriteans barely have rights in their own country and you want to give foreign travelers special treatments. Typical sentimental Eritrean.

Don’t expect that from Eritreans they are pride and arrogant people.

Much love to my black brothers and sisters in Uganda from somaliland. i also love Ugandan women shalom
Eritrean people and government welcomed Sudanese people without regard to stay freely and feel at home, even the president himself told them to feel at home, beside the sanctions nobody wants to leave his blessed home, i have many Eritreans and Somalian friends and they are good people, please let's not devided, unity is power!!
Thank you Joel for this video,I’m Eritrean, first the Foul Dish(Egyptian Beans) not Eritrean or Ethiopian cuisine, it’s from Sudan and originally from Egypt, but the way cooked Sudanese way all mixed beans, salad, cheese and eggs.but off course we all neighbors so we take from each others.
Eritreans very shy with camera and stragglers needs to knows you before have a chat with you, Ethiopian more friendly.
Hope one day Africa be ONE NATION.
Cheers Joel.
You guys at least need to be friendly with your Ethiopian neighbors before dreaming of a one Africa.

Do you know why Ethiopians and Eritreans are there? The answer is because Uganda is a very peaceful country. You should be proud of your country. Long life and health, Mosobeni.
It’s because Ugandan president ia getting paid by Britain to host refugees since Britain doesn’t want them or any foreigners over populating their country population

we ethiopian loves ugandan people.mayGOD bless ethiopia & uganda
Brother man I enjoyed this video 🥴
Historically the Eritreans, Ethiopians, Somalis are our people of the Hima tribe (Bahima), Uganda is home. 🙌
These people have come to the land of honey and milk. The Foul plate is full with different additions such as cheese and salad, and the bread is also big. That one order of foul is is given to about 6 customers to eat together in Eritrea and in Ethiopia. these people must be surprised regarding the abundance basic food stuffs . Kampala is reminds me of Sudan 4 decades back.
This is like roaming through Wolaita Sodo: both cities got nearly same people and style.
Thanks for watching 🤗🙏🏿
Thank you for sharing this video brother god bless you all

Joel, you either didn’t like the food or it was too much for you? Thanks for showing us the culture. ❤😊
It was too much bro, especially the adding of cooking oil on the already cooked beans. Thanks for watching 🙏🏿🤗💙
@@JoelObertan I would not have used the cooking oil over the food. I think that was excessive. Every culture has things that are unappealing. Here in the United States, there are fast food restaurants everywhere. I don’t eat fast food because it’s bad for your health.
The way you give respect ...❤for. The culture...thepeopl...wow...❤..🙏
