Just goes to show you how good Gamefreak is at "balancing" things! The power creep has been horrendous. Really started with Gen 4 but accelerated more and more ever since. Look at most Johto mons compared to modern ones and its mind-blowing seeing the differences in stats and competitive viability.
@@BackwardsHat Yeah, there has been a bit of a power creep, but honestly I'm not sure if looking at Johto for comparison is fair because it's just a really weak generation over all. The Pokémon in Johto are considerably weaker than the ones in Kanto and Hoenn since a lot of them are just incomplete or bad. Johto was way below average even before the power creep.

all it needs it to swap its Sp.Atk for Attack, it has Iron Fist, yet a terrible attack stat, swap them and oh boy you might have a similar situation as Huge Power Azumaril in your pokeball.

People get too caught up in graphics and textures and difficulty modes they lost their way and forgot reason they fell in love with the franchise in the first place which was because of the whimsy and the forged bonds with their team and the heartwarming adventures and again the subtle things

I always thought Galar’s name was a little play on how people with English accents occasionally add ghost R’s at the end of words ending with vowels. Naming your region GalaR forces even people without English accents to add that ghost R to the region name. Could also be a play on the word Gala, not Galar, which might fit a little better

I have to be honest, I don't agree with the theory link between gym leader Chuck and Chuck Norris. If Chuck in Johto was meant to be an in-game version of Chuck Norris, he would be virtually unbeatable, just like his real world counterpart. Instead, he's actually one of the easiest Johto gym leaders owing to the variety of Psychic and Flying types available prior to his gym, not to mention the Ghastly line being available during the previous gym in Ecruteak City. If Chuck was meant to be Chuck Norris, he would be at or above the level of Red at Mt. Silver!
Isnt orbeetle bailed on a UFO orbit-beetle , it's g max looks even more like a UFO , I didn't see the mad scientist aspect until I looked at the first 2 stages and even still seems like a stretch

Honestly, the Gen 5 games are so great already, they don't even need remakes. Just add the fairy type to a HD port, and we're good

I have to be honest, I don't agree with the theory link between gym leader Chuck and Chuck Norris. If Chuck in Johto was meant to be an in-game version of Chuck Norris, he would be virtually unbeatable, just like his real world counterpart. Instead, he's actually one of the easiest Johto gym leaders owing to the variety of Psychic and Flying types available prior to his gym, not to mention the Ghastly line being available during the previous gym in Ecruteak City. If Chuck was meant to be Chuck Norris, he would be at or above the level of Red at Mt. Silver!
