This song never gets old. Fantastic!
God bless, Father
I was among the audience here. Thanks to U2gigs.com for enabling me to relive this moment again and again!
ZOO STATION!!! Absolutely fantastic performance of a fantastic song
Surprising! How a wonderful time to see Zoo Station in Germany. Envy the audience there!
This is the stuff we want boys...awesome stuff
the great U2
They need to do a Zoo.com tour in 2021, that is if Bono can pull it off.
Ya, it’s perfect because that’s the 30th anniversary for the acthung baby album. They did this with Joshua tree so I’m hoping they can do it with Achtung Baby
I am so happy that I attend their concert. I miss them actually so much ..
Love this!!!
outstanding. hopefully we see more of this soon!!!
Perhaps this is a signal for the upcomming "achtung baby 30th Anniversary tour"!
God I hope so-wonder how they'll do Fly
Bono once spoke about a "ZOO.COM TOUR", that would be a great idea ! ^^
They know how the audience react with every achtung baby song. They must do something about that. In my case, last year I told Adam that we need a tour for that album , as an anniversary tour , also because southamerica did not see that tour. They need now a long vacation and then I hope they will consider it.
They did it with THIS already I think, they will do a break for some years now as Bono told too...
@@peterzahlten9587 they need a break, after three almost four consecutive years of touring and producing/recording SOI/SOE they must be tired.
That one sounded great. Can’t believe it. ZooTv is long gone now and albeit I believe this song belongs to a particular space and time, it is very good they play it every now and again. 👍🏻
Great video quality and sound, keep doing that !
Superclassic remembering ZooTv Sidney 1993
*Sydney
Im READY !
My favourite U2 deep cut and they played it live! This performance is as good as Zoo TV! Really hope they bring it out for Manchester and London
Nowhere near as good, but at this stage in their career, I can't blame them.
Me too mate outstanding manchester here we come!!!!!
Sorry not as good as good as Zoo TV or on the Vertigo tour.
Come on as good as Zoo TV? Sorry but NO
Great to hear them play this underrated amazing song again. But I think they'll never again reach the unbelievable heights of Zoo Station opening ZooTV and Zooropa. Best start to a concert I've ever seen bar none. The crowd went nuts! What a memory. Thanks U2!
Please perform this in Manchester boys - my favourite U2 song!
Brilliant. Thank you very much. Really enjoyed your wonderful video. Great job with the filming. So good to see and hear this again. All the best & hope you're enjoying the tour.
YES!!!!!
Fantastic performance!
Very good Monster.
Wow!
Gut gemacht!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great memories ans performance. Thanks. I hope they'll release an official version.
Grandi ragazzi👍👏👏
Obrigado Berlim, Obrigado Hamburgo
Amo di mais😍
I was born in Berlin, Dec. 61. West Berlin. Clicked on 11/24/20. Grab that steering wheel America, the world goes to hell without us.
Four years prior to this Bono performed an Incredible energetic performance of "every breaking wave" at the MTV EMA's. he sounded reborn...What happened to him in the last 4-5 years? Probably tired from touring lol. The band has been literally touring almost nonstop with only a one year break since 2015... That's allot for them since they are approaching 60.
They've been fairly crap post 97. Turned into coldplay and bono became even more insufferable!
Bono at 5:40 - “no energy”? Huh?
I def understand the criticism from other shows where they seemed like they were phoning it in, and it certainly wouldn’t kill Larry to smile every now and then, but this wasn’t lame at all. Guitar and vocal sounded awesome thanks for posting!
Hej should have put on them old fly shades!
Cool remix
Ah, My recording starts 4" earlier than this one. Seen from the other side next to the smal b-adam-stage.
U2me2u🌈💙💚🌍💚🌍💚🌍💙
U2 Wrote "Miami'
Hahaha he's back!
anyone know why they removed the SoI part of the set to put in some oldies? not complaining but i just do not understand
you seriously want to see the same thing they just toured three years ago
in favor of three/four of their best ever songs
He said he is not complaining, he was just asking a question
i mean i liked the change, i wish that i could see them now rather than on the american leg. I was just confused because they make it sound like it is a story and they are/have been telling the story in the same way. It seems like they have given up on the experience part of the story. it seems to me that they are preparing for the end of their time of being rock stars and want to play their famous songs one last time. I do not know if that is right but i was just confused and in all honesty they couldve removed other songs than the innocence portion. Cedarwood Road was genius and raised by wolves was brilliant live as well. It was a very intimate part of the show that has now been replaced
They have done it in Denmark for the first time. Perhaps the way to the next tour? Achtung Baby Birthday Party
U2 doesn’t write them like that anymore!
They're even better now!
Theyre shit now in terms of albums..pop was their last gasp..
Bono doesn't seem to know what's going on for the first 2 minutes of the song. To be fair they hadn't played it for ages.
No they didnt
They still have it but the current output is shite
Bono doesn’t give an F
come on! this song requires ENERGY from Bono... ok, time to accept his old age :'(
Pretty sure I remember Bono saying ‘I don’t want to be in a crap band’ and ‘three strikes and we’re out’.
The last album was the third strike, but the worst thing is that they can’t even see it.
No-one wants them to be good more than me but there’s just no energy, no spark 😩
The third strike was No Line On The Horizon. The band already fucked up with All That You Can't Leave Behind. Sure, it may be one of their most popular albums, but at the same time, it's the album when they stopped being creative and started to play generic dad rock for grandpas. How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb is even worse, it's just straight up generic rock. There's nothing interesting in that album, aside from a few highlights. Generic pop rock hooks, generic dad rock riffs, etc. No Line On The Horizon could have saved U2, but after Pop, they didn't have the balls to fully commit to recording a fresh, innovative, and sonically complex album. On NLOTH there are moments of pure bliss (Moment of Surrender, Cedars of Lebanon, etc.) and moments of straight up atrocious generic meaningless dad rock (Get On Your Boots, Stand Up Comedy). Honestly, Boots is the reason why nobody takes U2 seriously anymore. That's the worst song they have ever done. Not only it is bad by U2 standards, it is just a bad song, period. They were so desperate for a successful single that they failed miserably and delivered a flop. They wanted an experimental and a catchy album at the same time, and it didn't work. And their last two albums... Well, that's just sad. Aside from Sleep Like A Baby Tonight, Red Flag Day, The Little Things That Give You Away and a bit of the second half of SOE, there's nothing interesting about these albums.
Tin Soldier I didn't buy the last album.
Edvinas Šedeckis I agree with the comment about Stand Up Comedy.
As a 15 year old though, ALTCLB is what switched me onto them, so that has a place for me. It’s bold in a different way.
But yeah, it’s done. I took my sister to see them on the ‘Innocence’ tour because she had never seen them and swore never again.
Hard for me to believe but as a long time fan I now feel the same.
Tin Soldier , oh well, still, side one on NLOTH, is better than most bands can do, and most bands would kill for the privilege to have written every breaking wave and love is bigger than anything in its way. among some other tracks.
If you want to skip the bullshit, scroll to 2:40.
Once again, no gusto no passion no energy to the vocals or in the frontman :/
You can’t really blame him. It’s the first time they played this song in forever, and he isn’t as young as he was. He can’t hit the high notes like he used to, and the energy he had when he was younger is more or less gone. Don’t forget last month he lost his voice while singing.
They performed it once in 2015 and a couple of times in 2005. That was 3 and 13 years ago!! The fact the crowd gets this song performed at all is extremely rare and incredibly lucky.
Well he's a lot older now, the days of ZooTV are long gone. If anyone has a problem with that they should take it up with biology. I thought his performance was fine, he was enjoying the song and did it brilliantly. Quit your bitching and just be happy that they're still touring these awesome songs
once again, another unnecessary opinion
@@faz0482 What constitutes a necessary opinion? I'm a fan, this is a shitty effortless vocal performance. Bono has given up *performing* songs at this point, he just "talks" them.
Love U2 but this is a really poor performance. I'm agree with Robert Byrne: there is no passion, no energy.
Bahh...
