I’m 37 and this entire thing made me think of my marriage when I first got married. I’ve been married for 13 years now, we’ve been together for 18years. I told my mother in law who has never had a successful marriage and my mother who has been married for years now. When it comes to my son and husband keep your mouth out my marriage. When we as children call to deal with you all then talk to us about us (moth and child). But with this lady it seems like if Sydney would have gotten her pregnant she would have taken him for half of everything. He did the right thing. My mother and my mother in law and I have a great relationship now but Sydney the young lady didn’t even try. You are super amazing! I don’t believe in divorce and I made sure my husband knew who I was before we even got married.
It dont sound like either of them tried esp if u go thru went a wedding so u don't waste money. Neither of them had the mindset to stay in that marriage. I've been married 20 years and its never just on one person.
I agree with putting fam in their place. That's a hard lesson for people to learn if they never been in a successful marriage tho.
I think its important for both parties to really know and prepare for a life together and what that truly means. That way the divorce rates we see now would decrease

My husband was a mommy's boy until I forced him to acknowledge the disrespect she was showing me and put a stop to it. While there should be no animosity, parents shouldn't be in your marriage it never works out.

I have a teenager and realized that raising my child is what I need to do right now. I only have 1 social media account that I haven't posted on since 2017 and had bad experiences with online dating. I have prayed on finding thean GOD made for me and understand that will happen when I have time to devote to a relationship that will lead to marriage. That's why I have not been married. I don't want to get married just to say I did.
