I'm a 37 year old black woman and I clicked on this simply because I was intrigued by what it was you made, but also bc you looked so proud of what you made so I had to see lol. I love it
Sometimes my sister makes sweet Dutch Babies for breakfast. I want to try this savory, cheesy Dutch baby! Sort of like Pizza, without raising the dough for hours. Next time my husband sees a Pizza commercial on TV, I'll turn on the oven and warm up the skillets. (Maybe I'd better warm up three skillets, for four adults.) Even with the warm-up, it will not take much longer than it takes to order pizza, and drive into town to pick it up. We'd save a lot of money, too. Thanks for this great idea!
Ah so many, but here's a couple of crowd pleasers. Please adapt your version. One is tiny bread rounds, on one side layer thin slice of roast chicken, on other side a thinner slice of fresh white or black truffle as available, spread tiny bit of cognac, cream, ementhaler paste in between & assemble. Dip or brush in egg & saute brown on each side. Roll edge in finely minced parsley and pass hot on pretty little tray. Makes your eyes roll back. Another is giant shrimp stuffed with crushed Brazil nut paste and dipped in lightest tempura. Pass hot with homemade spicy plum sauce. Those are from memory but both are found in 1985 Gourmet Menu Cookbook. Eager to see your take on them. Thanks for your lessons. Jane
