    I am embarrassed to admit I did NOT realize the flatten to height allows us to determine a height in the air. I am so glad I didn't get cocky and skip the beginning tutorial assuming I already knew it all haha.

    With the fishing sign that goes with ponds/live mode, you have to click the sign after you build to tell it which kinds of fish to stock. For that reason I wouldn't shrink it too much, because you want it to be clickable.

    Btw I watched this video last night and have played around all day today with different builds and overall wondering what limits I can push. While I was practicing the edging techniques I realized something that might help you figure out the green sand problems. Prior to watching this I always took a little time on details but the perfectionist in me makes it incredibly hard to say its good to go. So to save some time I would go in and use one of the darker browns to color the entire bottom of the pond so then it at least was all one (or very close to one) color. While adding a few different color browns to different spots, I noticed the water started looking less green and more like, water! I think possibly what is happening is you add so much and blend it so well that adding even the slightest bit of a lighter brown again, is just evolving the water coloration. Thanks for the amazing tips!!!!

      AWE thanks so much!!! Yeah be prepared for a 20 hour video if I do my large builds in real time hee hee but I totally understand! I'm trying to come up with a new style of build video that works better for me because I actually don't like making speed builds, they stress me out and it's hard to really see what i"m doing cuz it's so fast lol but then I also can't talk through the whole thing....hmmmm maybe if i mix a bunch of everything? like do mini speed build moments for the really tricky time-consuming stuff and then talk through the other parts of the build? Also, I'm glad you appreciate my constant ADD moments - ADHD UNITE! hahahaha Thanks heaps for your lovely encouragement!

    This video was awesome!!! It's amazing to see all the different tools and things you've learned to create your beautiful builds! Thank you so much for sharing. Also I love when you go on tangents and things because you can always tell when a teacher is knowledgeable and passionate if they have so much they can share to the point where they can ramble past the basic knowledge. Plus that's where you can learn some of the most creative and inspiring techniques! Also I'm not sure if it works with the waterfalls but maybe if you do use a room instead of tool to lower or raise the height you could take one of the walls and move it in to get rid of the room but keep the content unlike if you were to delete the room. I saw SatiSims do it in her latest build tutorial for sheds and it seemed to react pretty well to things that were resized and changed from their normal state. Thank you again!

    • @fantasims
      @fantasims  3 года назад

      O goodness thank you so much wonderful that is incredibly kind of you! I'm glad my tangents aren't super annoying lol My brain tends to jump around a lot! That is an excellent trick you mention! You can try it with terrain and see but usually with the terrain it jumps back up, but it could possibly work in some situations so I'll have to test it out and see! Thanks for the suggestion! You are truly lovely!

    I love love LOVE this video. I really honestly loved how much time you spent showing us how you work on the terrain tools and the little ideas you let blossom and tried - even the things I kiiinda knew, I learned SO much just watching you work! As a fellow ADHDer, I totally sympathize with having a hundred ideas you have to follow because...you have to!
    I'm so inspired now to build something totally ridiculous. I really appreciated, also, that you showed how to do all of this without using TOOL (except the sewers which...oooh. I may be building my vampires a sewer haven) for us TOOL newbs.

    • @fantasims
      @fantasims  3 года назад

      O WOW thank you SO MUCH wonderful that is truly so encouraging and kind of you! I was scared it would be too long but I know it would be confusing to rush everything so I'm so glad it was helpful. I'm glad you understand my ADD brain hahahaha
      That is the BEST news that you are inspired to build something crazy - those are the best builds! I love the sound of vampire sewers!! And if you want to do it without TOOL you can just cover the tiny window you size down with the [ key with like a plant or object inside the sewer and it should hide it! If ever you need help with anything to do with TOOL just let me know, I love doing mini tutorials on TOOL stuff if it will help!
