"Gelübde" ("Ich hab' mich ergeben")

Written in 1820 by Hans Ferdinand Maßmann and dedicated to Germany. The tune is borrowed from the 1819 piece 'Wir hatten gebauet' ('We had built') and is used in the modern national anthem of the Federated States of Micronesia, Patriots of Micronesia. It was also the unofficial national anthem of West Germany from 1949 until 1952, when the truncated version of Deutschlandlied (using only the third stanza) was made official.
