As soon as I seen that France had 3 cities consolidated in a corner I thought they'd win. Then when I seen the infernal yanks spreading across the map unchecked I almost had my doubts. Good job old boney came through in the end.
HOLY SHIT America actually did well. America's bonus might be shit but the miniute men are both why america won so many was and why it lost to france(they lost their mobility.) Holy shit the minute men are op when everything is a forest.
In this map top is stronger than the bottom sides are better than the middle.The game was mostly decided when France took Osininka and US did not show interest in taking Edirne.
Please make more of these I crave civilization 5 or 6 so only battles, the one problem is that there’s never a comeback for the second to last team as they usually don’t even out in the late game. Nice to see that a civ actually had a comeback this game.
Cause they had two huge cities. City populations grow exponentially in this game, and the most important thing is total population. So they had a huge leg up from the start. You could tell america was gonna do well cause they had the other huge city.
They got ahead in tech, again. Haven't played this game ion a couple years so I don't remember the civ bonuses they get. Seems like in many of these videos France out paces the other civs in tech, and dominates. It was largely a stalemate, till France broke out the robots of doom at the end.

US had the most territory but French cities had higher population and higher tech. France was peaceful for most of the game and developed their cities while none of their neighbors wanted to challenge them.

UserName117 Well we were the ones kicking their bratwursts until Prussia happened, so no hard feelings, really. In fact, the french-german friendship, born so soon after WW2, is one of the things I think about when I need my faith in humanity restored.
That's not America, but the AI sucks with them. Byzantinum is definetly the worst. Japan, Iroquois and Cartage (on land maps) are still behind America. Even Denmark and India is kinda worse.
