Quite right I joined the BBC in 1970 worked on every episode of this series and others Cliff Richards "Live" on Saturday nights Cilla Black lots of "In Concerts" What a way to earn a living . Your right you don`t see anything like this anymore what the kids today are missing

I vividly remember his Sunday evening shows. They were a delightful oasis of distraction in a time overshadowed by bereavement. They even managed to get John D into a caveman suite (shown in a clip); teach him dance steps, and get his 'two left feet' -- the producer's assessment of his dancing skills -- operating in synchronism with 'Pan's People;' the girls he danced along with.

Man this jank crazy. John been gone for nearly 25 and a half years…and these were around 24 and a half years before he died. And now its been nearly 50 years since he did these duets and lots of people, like me, were dead at the time. And now we are alive and he is dead. He got off the highway and we is still on it. He has no idea he ever existed at all and we still here truckin’ knowing that one day, we won’t even know anything ever existed at all. That trips me out. But if you don’t know anything as soon as you die, what are the chances in the billions of years this earth has been spinning that you are on the timeline right this minute experiencing it. Everyone’s life may as well run concurrently. Never forget that the universe ends when you die!
