- Dave Matthews performs their last show of their 2024 European Tour from ALTICE Arena, Lisbon Portugal May 5th, 2024.
*VIDEO NOTE* My webcast looked like someone didn't pay the power bill at the arena. I couldn't see any of the fellas at certain times which was irritating. So, once it was over and captured, I tweaked and played with the color several times. The result has a kind of artistic look to it. None the less...enjoy! That's one Drum Kit that won't be shipped back to the US. Carter just beat the s*&% out of it...especially "Crush" and at the end with "Last Stop". Good gawd!!!!

They should literally record everyshow nowadays, the number one selling tickets of live rock not recording their shows is wild. Pretty lights streams all his concerts they should. That Forrest Hills, NY concert wouldve been crazy live streamed like this.
They do record every show… they just don’t make the public.

Estive lá, o som realmente não foi o melhor a comparar com o ultimo até então, mas ainda assim é sempre uma ganda experiencia .🤘🤘
O som estava miserável….dos 7 ou 8 concertos que fui este teve o pior som e também alinhamento, mas ainda assim adorei

Estavam como tu, não lá :( ... O que é uma pena, pois o concerto todo perde com a falta dos fãs que ergueram o telhado em 2007 e 2016.
Eu ainda hesitei antes de comprar, mal saíram os bilhetes... pois na última vez que os vi, já senti essa falta e coração triste.... Mas sabes o que me fez comprar em setembro? A consciência de que um dia, será a última vez, the last stop, eu posso não saber que é a última vez... E estes concertos são a única coisa ao qual digo sim sem hesitar e ter uma coisa assim, com coração de adolescente intacto, é uma coisa valiosa de se ter. ❤❤ Espero que da próxima vez estejas/estejam lá. Até já 💎👌

Just not the same without a violin
I wish people would love this band where ever they’re at in their journey. It’s like saying you only lived your kids when they were i.e. 4 yrs old. Get over it…. Living in past, limits your future.
yes. Everything changes over time. It would be unnatural after 30+years for that not to be the case. The important thing is that each iteration of the band has a great sound. I especially liked the sound of the Roi, Boyd, Butch era but their current sound is still the best of whatz around.@@SuperRedCanadian
Correct. The sound is much better now. And they are far happier as a group. And they can release shows and not have to worry about an out of tune violin that has certainly taken away “could have been” live releases, but… “that awful violin”. Barely got away with releasing piedmont park, grey street sounds awful on it. The violin stuck around over the years merely because Dave and the guys are just that loyal.
The only live version where I truly miss the fiddle is 'lie in our graves' other than that I absolutely love their sound now. Buddy is amazing and certainly makes up for the 'missing' violin.
