Well whatever straight hair can do,. My hair can do except being straight. That and being brushed or go into the rain without turning into a lion mane I remember hairdressers frustrated that my hair would curl right back after being straightened

In home improvement stores they sell black foam tubes, like pool noodles, but various diameters designed to be used to insulate water pipes in homes. Im curious if a length of that item in the correct diameter would work for this technique. It sure wouldnt cost $42! I love your personality & channel. 💗🙏💗
I think it would - might be a little rough on the hair but you could easily cover it with fabric, either just by wrapping a scarf around in strips or sewing it into a long tube to make a cover.
And insulation foam tubes will stand heat being applied to it as well 😊

It looks super cute with the tank top in it to begin with. I can imagine keeping it in that style, maybe with a bow at the top for a day or two then getting an extra day with the voluminous curls too!
I would love to see you do a collab with Kayley Melissa one day! You could try one of your typical styles on her hair (hers is fine, straight and doesn't hold a curl that easily), and she could try a complicated braid on yours. Or maybe y'all could both find a complex looking Instagram hairstyle and have the other try to recreate it. I think it would be fun to see how the styles turn out considering the different hair textures y'all have

Well... Your hair doesn't shrink like alot of kinky hair. My hair is mid back length but naturally shrunken I can't do certain stuff.... And that's ok.... Just like there's some stuff my hair does their hair can't do.... And that's ok.....

I feel you! I have hair as long as yours but dead straight that you really have to *convince* to curl (with lots of hair moose and hair spray) - otherwise my hair refuses to be anything but straight. And I don't have anything long enough to do this style with!
I respect you keeping it real and using what you have instead of going full RUclips fancy and always buying the exact tool or whatever you need to do something. Nothing wrong with buying the hair pool noodle or whatever the current trendy thing is, but it's cool when people on YT don't mind doing things the way people might do them outside of RUclips/IRL.

I tried it on my type 3 hair and it worked perfectly it is just that the back was so flat and the roots too I needed to style it
Alos unless you blow dry it before it takes at least a day to dry
Yessss that is my biggest gripe with this style, and why I haven't tried it. It only looks good from the front lol
U separate the hair at the crown of ure head, mostly towards the back and do a mini version of the style at the top

Viv, they have it on aliexpress for $2! I searched heatless curler and heatless curls silk and found a ton of results. Please try those, bc with cloth like you used it is highly manipulatable so we can always get a good result. But I want to know if one of these tubes would stay in the hair and if it is as easy to manipulate and if the scrunchies protect the ends like in the ads
I would like to try it but I have medium sized thick kinky hair and my ends get tangled so much I want to try natural hairstyles I try to flat iron my hair the middle and the back and the front gets flat iron but my ends does not how can I stop my ends forgetting Tangled I even tried to cut my ends I have a whole lot of hair similar to your hair and it's 1B very kinky I would like for you to show me how to deal with my kinky hair and what styles I could use naturally and by the way I love all your videos Queen

No matter what you use to curl your hair, you make it look amazing. Your head is magic! --- Of the three, Comedy...but I really like sci-fi & fantasy...anything set in another time or place.

If you used a pretty satin ribbon (so it doesn't catch on your hair), the twisted up look would work as an actual hair style.
