Good video. I learned that using an impact wrench is the way to go to remove those two special nuts without having to use a gear jammer. It's also the trick for getting it back on. I did see in another video someone put the rings on that gold thing and then put it into the basket. Seems that would make it easier to put the rings back on. Rather than buy a gasket, I'm going to use Permatex liquid gasket product to make one.
Yeah impact wrench defently the way to go id be lost without it yeah I used jb welds silicone gasket in a tube on another ctx200 clutch cover worked very well
I was kind of hoping to see how that cover went on, Mine gets to a certain point then gets hung up near the kickstart spline an de compessor I dont have a manual. any tricks??
I had somthing like that happen the shifter mechanisim had poped out a bit slightly causing the case not to go on all the way tapped it back gently then was able to get it on holding the foot brake down
IS THE CTX200 AND XR200R(BRASIL) VERY SIMILAR? ONE THING I NOTICED WAS XR200(BRASIL) DOESNT HAVE A KICK START , EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS REMARKABLY SIMILAR !! PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF U KNOW THE DIFFERENCE... GREAT VIDEO!
@@danieldickson7812 thank you, can you elaborate. What is similar brother? Electric harness? PRO-LINK repair kit? Wheel bearings, engine bearings ? Shock? Thanks in advance again.
Ones called seat judder spring and the other ones called spg judder here’s a diagram your local Honda shop should be able to get them for you www.westcoastmotorcycles.com.au/partFinder/fiche/honda/2016/ctx200/clutch
@Daniel D thank you. For some reason they werent on the diagram when i found it on hondas website Edit: even on the website u used it is not there for the xr200r. All the videos ive seen have them but i havent opened up my bike yet to see if it does. Apparently it cant hurt it to leave it out
