As long as those parameters are met it has no capability to look back on what it spat out for continuity, cohesiveness, or especially if it all even meant anything. If you 'talk' to ChatGPT right now you have to tell it when it is wrong because all it knows is it spat out information. The AI we have right now is, honestly, not really AI because it isn't intelligent, it just pretends to be.
I think part of the reason is, one of the things I observed in many of the most staunch supporters of AI, many of them seem to believe that just because they want something, they are entitled to get it. They want to be artists, they want to be animators, they want numerous things that require so much work to truly master without having to put in any work at all. They think they deserve it just because they want it and they shouldn't have to hone the skill, and if you suggest otherwise you're just another money hungry gatekeeper in their eyes.
They didn't even have anything to say. That felt nothing like a coherent story. No surprise that the same people who can't animate can't write, either.

Not if you want to make an uncanny cringe David Lynch horror short for a indie game or indie film background noise. I wouldn't use AI as a final product, but as a tool to a create a reference, or story boards. that kind of handicaps.
This is exactly what Clutch Cargo would be like if it was made today. It even has still images with mouths, except they didn't even get real people to lip sync. Not a single person had input on this besides telling an AI to make South Park images and scripts. This entire episode could have literally been made in a day (if not even quicker) from one minimum-wage worker. Just thinking about companies actually using this in the future is scary.

the mouth animation is just the same loop of different mouth drawings, all of which appear to be lifted right off of south park frames, but without any care for the fact that some of them are happy, and some not.
