"Don't say the word triggered if you've never actually fired a weapon" Conservatives completely ignoring that rape victims also get PTSD and not just soldiers is pretty telling
To recall an old George Carlin clip (one of the very few that haven't aged well), the whole reason it was changed from "shell shock" to "battle fatigue", to "operational exhaustion" to "post-traumatic stress disorder", was they kept finding the same symptoms popping up after increasingly different types of trauma.
Birchum is just angry at everything - dogs not eating meat? A gay guy? 😡 Meanwhile, while Hank Hill had plenty of things he didn't like, he also has things he does. He enjoys grilling steaks on clean burning fuel, and isn't going "y'know Bobby, the woke left don't want you usin' propane I tell you hwhat." Ron Swanson was so beloved because of the infectious joy he has in making things - And when you have a character that actually cares about something, it can make for more interesting conflict - and ideally in fiction, you will make the source of the conflict somewhat nuanced as well, or even in a show like this subvert expectation at times for humor. >And when you have a character that actually cares about something"... That's the problem. The people who made this show believe only liberal woke losers care about things.
The great thing about Hank is that you can see him being passionate (I'll use energy as an example, since he sells propane and propane accessories) about solar, nuclear, wind, coal, charcoal- whatever it may be- if that was part of his story instead of propane, because they all have some benefits (be it already implemented infrastructure or low waste). They make it about "I HATE this because of my POLITICAL leaning," not "I don't really understand this, and I've never had any experience with it, and I might not really agree with it, but I will still probably give it a chance and try to understand because I dont just blindly hate anything foreign to me." It kills me how these shows that keep coming out try so hard to be Frank Murphy, and Frank Murphy (who I love) was made by Bill Burr, a flaming socialist.
Here’s the thing: if you want to comment on or critique political ideologies, go right ahead. However, like Saber said, it should be done with nuance, intelligence, and overall, BE FUNNY! There’s nothing clever, intelligent, or even funny about a character just stating conservative talking points, especially when there’s no true counter to their worldview outside of over exaggerated caricatures. Sure, those people may exist on TikTok, but to act like they’re the only ones who represent lgbt people or even the left is absurd. If the creators of this show actually talked face to face with someone from the lgbt community instead of just referencing memes their conservative buddies love to share on repeat like it’s fact, they’d probably see their caricatures are stupid. King of the Hill worked because it had nuance and actual challenges to Hank’s world view. This doesn’t present any challenges, let alone anything remotely funny; it presents Bircham’s world view like it is the right one, no matter how much of an insufferable asshole he comes across as.
What’s even more funny is tht a fandom started shipping mr. Birchum and the woke guy… there some tasteful artwork…on twitter. At 5:50 what's the Point?,that dog do whatever they want 🐶🐕
Want to know an awesomely done anti-vegan joke. Ron Swanson on Parks and Rec at the grocery store. That was one of MANY vegan jokes. Jokes are better when they’re funny and smart.
Parks and Rec is "smart"? 😂
There's nothing in this show but hatred. It brings nothing to the table but trying to divide people and makes 0 effort to understand. Sad and pathetic
Wait, King of the Hill, a conservative cartoon??? Mike Judge? Oh man, that’s funny. That’s like calling The Colbert Report a conservative show.
6:40 Ugh. Let's watch the lipsync, okay? 🌊💋🌊 Ah, thank you!
I’ve been in an irl shop class.
We were taught many things.
Don’t fuck up a tool and tell teach, we don’t get it back. So you fix it yourself, aka don’t put the wrong part on the tool easy.
Screwdriver makes a great chisel, why do you think it’s got a flat end to hit with a hammer.
Everything is a hammer if you don’t have one.
The bad teacher is a stuck up one that lets no one do anything. Hes a shit shop teach.
13:15 idk looks like Neil cicierega to me.
He's on the board because WOKE people listen to his music grrrrrrrr /j
NEIL CICIEREGA MENTIONED🎉🎉
All the people on the board are right wing tho
It kills me how these shows that keep coming out try so hard to be Frank Murphy, and Frank Murphy (who I love) was made by Bill Burr, a flaming socialist.
I watched it, it's meh at best. Not even fun to mock really.
If i have to pause and google "who is this person", your political joke isnt funny ☺️
I hate to defend mr birtchum of all things but that speaks more to your lack of political knowledge than the show itself
Watch the fox pilot it’s way better
Which btw wasn’t our fault they did have mr birchum have a dream about dancing with the woke guy
Also the ppl who worked on this the animators etc. allegedly are queer and may have sneak in some queer moments
we're a powerful bunch
7:41 Isn't Nancy Pelosi like, 84?? 🤢🤢
Ever wanted to see King of the Hill but with none of the interesting characters or funny jokes and 5 times the political prosthelytizing?
Can the woke survive?
8:50 watching this cartoons emotionaly bothered saberspark so much he got a drink to relax after this... cartoon..., for comparacine i saw my dad inresponcive and choking on the floor, and after the paramedics got him into the ambulance heading for the hospital... then i needed a drink... saber spark is so soft a cartoon with politics right of his is akin to finding a loved one convolsing on the floor... but no, the new generations not soft... they arint emotionaly weak before theyre years... im 34... me and saber spark arint far off in terms of age... why is he so much weaker than me emotional??? im not proposong an answer here, i dont have one!... maybe he was joking... good, i hope he was joking... id liek that to be fact rather than what seems to be the norm, people are getting more fragile, more easily broken, and thats not a mockery of them, its a detriment to our entire civilization, we need to adress such things... not ignore or hide them... both the individual... and the sociaty deserve better.
No, "shardinhand1243", people are not getting softer, you're not more emotionally strong than this youtuber, you don't know how his day was before this stream. Chill.
Jesse what the fuck are you talking about
@@GothicPixie who the fu ck is jesse, you mean jesus?... as for what im talking about, my comment explains that, if you cant read or cant grasp what im saying thats not my problem, its yours, im done here.
@@shardinhand1243 look up the phrase on google lol
@@shardinhand1243 Idk why it removed my comment lmao but look up the phrase ya goober. I'm just joshing. Take some deep breaths I promise it's not that deep, I didn't even read any of your comments, not even the one I'm replying to
Why do we keep giving shit like this attention?
erm what the sigma is this cartoon
btw love ur content saberspark!
It's poorly written and badly acted so much
A conservative cartoon. However it feels like it parodies itself. Also people Who are more right-winged don't even like this show. Saying it's too woke for them.
True
@@Galaxykuma yeah ik and as a conservative myself i can state that this show is actual trash
Even if the show was good I still wouldn’t like it because the storyline and jokes would be coming from a place thts out of touch
Everyone in the comments honestly your leaning are telking were you lean twords and abd yeah sure lable me a conservative idgaf cause I'm not gonna get all but hurt about it but South Park will honestly take better jabbs than this show though and continue to do so especially with the healthcare episode I'll akways turn to that show everyday lol but anyways i still watch this because im not a whimp but this show can't be worse than Acolyte 🤣
What the god damned fuck did I just read? I feel like I had a fucking stroke reading this and it's the EDITED version of whatever the hell they were trying to say
It never ceases to amaze me how much ppl will bring up how much they dont like star wars no matter what the convo was lmao
Jesus christ, lay off the meth before you write a comment. This is unreadable.
Thought this would be funny to laugh at but it's just depressing. No shade on Saberspark, this is just really badly made overall.
Oh lookie here! Yet ANOTHER crappy done celebrity self insert “adult” cartoon.
🤢🤢
While I hate shows that are extreme left leaning quite a bit.
I must say the other side of it is insanely more awful.
In animation and most jokes like my god why must most adult cartoons be riddled with this trash.
Could you give me some examples of extreme left leaning shows? I haven’t seen any and ngl I’m curious to see how they compare to the right wing trash ones.
@@DogsandPennies I think they mean Velma or anything that's "Leftist" because it has a few gay or black people in it.
People still think Ghost Busters 2016 was some far Left communist Marxist film about hating men and rejective Conservative values. When really it was shit running off a feminist message to sell tickets and that's about it.
Please give me those communist and anarchist shows' names please. No, Velma isn't one of them.
this show was so cringe and biased, does that make the creators better than the lefties that theyre tryna surpass?? NO!!
It wasn’t funny. Also I’m not a fan of sitcoms. But that doesn’t save the show.
