Okay, there's a thing I desperatly need to say: You know that bottle thing he used as an example? Let me elaborate on that. Okay, where do I start? here in Brazil, where I was born and live, we have this soda brand called "Dolly". It's kind of a low-quality brand, and the most iconic thing about them is their commercials. They have this mascot called "Dollynho" (Little Dolly), which looks unintentionally awful, but they insist it's cute, and has this *really* bad voice acting, that sounds like a nightmare. Basically, they fill brazilian TV with these awfully animated commercials that consist in Dollynho singing and dancing with children. They have about 3 standard commercials, and a lot of holiday themed ones they play every year repeatedly. A christmas one (featuring a green Santa Claus), a Mother's Day one, a Father's Day one, an Easter one, and God knows what more. Here in Brazil their commercials are used as jokes and memes frequently, due to their terrible quality and cursed mascot. And yes, he looks like a pedo for us too. So, that's it, I just needed to point that out since this is the first time I see anyone outside of Brazil talking about Dollynho, and I thought you guys might like this little not fun fact.
Lets be real here, the Dolly company ain't hurting for money, if they wanted to make a better 3D animation for their mascot and commercials they would have done so by this point, they are either very stingy and use this crap because they already paid for it, or they're in on the joe that this IS shit and are rolling with it.
Well Europeans are more open to sex and sexuality...for the most part...at-least compared to here in the US...anyway you guys are more exposed and open to it so logically it wouldn’t bother you.
Yeah like it was obviously parodying other classic ad formats, the use of 3d models instead of actors to underline that it isn't the real purpose of the ad. I think someone in the publicity department saw that and decided to go for broke and chose them to be furries

My English teacher showed the class the gecko Suicide one. He was talking about how he had to explain Romeo and Juliet to a student who couldn’t speak English very well, so he showed them the commercial to try to explain it. I don’t know how that didn’t make the student more confused, but since he was telling us the story and showing the commercial, I assume it worked.
I'm a little bit late to the party but the funny thing to me is that Orangina is actually good. I have no idea why they did these commercials but the actual product tastes pretty good. Them doing these commercials seems so unhinged that I can't help it but laugh out loud whenever I see them. (German here, we sometimes get Orangina in our stores, I imagine every time the company made a deal with a certain convenience store chain.)
The most memorable commercial I can remember is the long long man gum soap opera style Japanese commercial. It had everything that a Mexican soap opera has: character development, drama, plot twists and even a storyline that was consistent and over-the-top. Best part was that it had subtitles in English so you could follow the story

I'm russian, and I saw Hooch commercial from #1 place when I was little. I found them funny at a time, but then forgot about them completely up until now XD
As a Frenchamn I was very amused at Saber's confusion over the Orangina ads. They have been making over-the top, silly ads since the 80's. Why? They are a friggin fruit juice drink company! They have nothing special save from having a weird bottle shape and pulp in the bottle (hence their "shake it" motto) and being French. So they have been going the "let's be weird" route for decades. Tho, going the anthro/furry route was an outstanding move even for them.
#5, As a fellow french, I have to admit.... Okay, we had some weird ads 🤣And the ones where they din't drink the orangina but use it as products, was just the company memeing on those constantly appearing ads at this period of time, and I have to admit.... the sillyness worked very well, and I wouldn't be surprised if those ads awakened many furrys in my country, seeins how prominent they were on TV 🤣 (PS, I was a child when those existed and aired on TV, made me laugh)
As Brazilian I remember when I used to see that car commercial asking "Does your car have Horse Power or Pony Power?" with the engine playing a sticky music repeating "Cursed Ponys, Cursed Ponies!", with right after the commercial a devilish pony cursing you(the viewer) to have their awful song playing in the head for ever. Also the Dolly Soda mascot "Dollinho" has a lot of fanfics around similar to "Shrek is Love". In one he makes a young boy suck his soda until Dollinho splashed soda everywhere with a satisfaction face. The young boy then begins to feel weird and pukes a baby Dollinho with "Father Dollinho" saying" This is my present to you" and fly away.
I REMEMBER THIS DAMNED "CURSED PONIES" COMERCIAL! The song still pops ups in my mind randomly sometimes "-" I'm happy I never saw this Dollynho thing you said...
I'm 100% convinced that the reason that I haven't seen some of these commercials on Chadtronic isn't because Chad hasn't seen them. It's because they were too much. Too extreme for his channel... but not too extreme for Saberspark's, apparently.
13:25 what's funny is that the company of this ad got sued by Black Eyed peas for using their song 'my humps' for a parody music without their permission.
Everything is so sexualized and creepy. Imagine being a little kid innocently watching cartoons and one of those ads comes on, you would have A LOT of questions for your parents after that. "Mom why is the green soda can making that face? Dad why are those animals dancing like that? Why is that lady looking at that cookie like that?" And what would you say as the parent? I have absolutely no idea.
Even as an adult I can't stand the sexualized commercials lmao, it's just like do I really have to listen to this man talk seducingly about fucking peanut butter cups in my ear when I'm trying to listen to a documentary to sleep? Lmao
In the end Russia's on top. I still remember those "Hooch" commercials. The drinks themselves were non-alchoholic cocktails. The idea behind the commercials was the slogan "o-Hooch-enno" which means "Really HOOCHin' Great" - so that kinda enabled the author. The commercial came-out at the same time "Naked and Funny" premiered in Russia (they even use the same SFX). And I remember how fitting those commercials were for the gag-show about sexy situations. It was always shown after 10 PM for some reason 😏 Unfortunately the company went bankrupt thanks to the 2008 financial crisis - that's why there's only two of those. PS: I actually know the guy who animated this - he later directed the "Quackerz" cartoon. He's a sweet guy.

Correction: a few years ago, they tried to change and make a normal commercial with just regular people hanging around, but it didn't last. I wonder if it was pushback from the public or what.

Russia and Hungary are both severely unwell at the moment.
It's the early 2000s we had T.aT.u, everything was allowed after the fall of USSR and the horrible 90s. Then, sadly, I think it all moved a bit too quickly and too "in your face" for the Russian audience.
Knowing it’s a Brazilian makes it even funnier
Why Brazil needs to suffer so much? I feel sorry for us
They think this is awful but they really dont know starchick commercials
Lets be real here, the Dolly company ain't hurting for money, if they wanted to make a better 3D animation for their mascot and commercials they would have done so by this point, they are either very stingy and use this crap because they already paid for it, or they're in on the joe that this IS shit and are rolling with it.
