The airport authority is a separate entity from Etihad. That being said, don't hold your breath. The authorities still have to get to the "foundation" of whats holding up the opening of the buildings.
Amazing interview! I'm fortunate to have experienced Etihad in various forms, including during their cost cutting period to their business class in the 787-9. I'm to see them emerging from their near collapse to become a world class airline again. I currently have a flight scheduled on their narrowbody aircraft, which I've never experienced before, and hope to try the A350 in the not too distant future. I wish them continued success and thanks again for the interview!
@@get2dachoppa249 For me, it will be my first experience on a middle east airline narrowbody. Probably not special, but as an av geek, something to look forward to.
@@get2dachoppa249 In the near future, I plan to go out of my way to fly on the Air China and Korean Airlines 747-8 too. Perhaps in 2024. Next on my bucket list is the non-stop between Singapore and New York.
A question to ask was : when is the new airport opening ???

There's nothing special about EYs narrow-body service. Decent, but not special.

@@sainnt No shame in that game. I flew Lufthansa at the beginning of this year for no other reason than to fly on a 747.
