I love Mystic Fabric! She offers a hand dyed Charles Craft Aida base and it’s perfect for stitching in hand because it’s more firm than zweigart Aida. Mystic is the only hand dyed fabric I buy!
It was great to finally meet you at Stitch Con and get a hug from one of my favorite Flosstubers. I just wish we had had more time to visit. You are just the sweetest and I was so glad you got to ring the bell with your beautiful Santa and the Ark work. The Christmas Claws chart was so cute! Kristi is a very nice designer and it was amazing to learn she is also in the Coast Guard. You picked the best Stitch Con ever for your first time. I have been three years and this was the best yet. I hope to see you next year and we need to plan lunch or shopping or something. The project in your share that you didn't know how to do is trapunto, almost like quilting except you snip the backing fabric and stuff it as you go to give it the three dimensional look. Thank you so much for the sweet Stitch Con bag. I loved everything in it. You are so creative. I ran out of time as I have been working and traveling and was lucky to get my table gifts and small finished. You need to hang with me in the airport as I worked in airports for 12 years and get around pretty well even in strange airports. I do love to fly. Usually the flight attendants admire my cross stitch and call it needlepoint. 😆 Glad James William did well while you were away. Hope to see you soon, dear friend. Dottie
