I am glad you mentioned RWBY got you into cosplaying. I remember someone in RoosterTeeth saying they designed the characters to make them easier to cosplay.
I love wheat berry pancakes with a little honey and butter. So deliciously natural, makes me feel like like a lumberjack. And theres a syrup brand here in Texas that blends maple syrup and wildflower honey with a little vanilla and cinnamon. Sooo good.
My favorite pancake style has to be one from my childhood that my grandma would make all the time. Buckwheat pancakes, they’re not super sweet and the texture’s different but if you grew up with them you know how good they are.
I am still trying to learn how to make them myself. But when I spent a few years in Japan I really came to enjoy the super fluffy soufflé style pancakes that they make. I found one place that used something similar to cheesecake mix in it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream on top. Those are my personal favorite.
Gotta say I adore pancakes that have fresh berries mixed in. Easily raspberry are a banger but mango really hits different too. I love me some mango soufflé pancakes with sweet, warm maple syrup
I remember finding this series (RWBY) on youtube almost 8yrs ago. Followed religiously until around 2016-17 I'm so far behind now. Though it's now on streaming platforms that I'm subscribed too. Lol
My favourite pancakes are similar to what you have dished up, but I like the use of wholewheat in there. Still topped with maple syrup and blueberries (which I blend together to make a sauce before adding it to the pancakes)
The best pancakes I had when I was younger was my grandmother. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. She cooked it in one of those old school iron cast pan. I miss those. I miss my Grandma too.
Our pancakes tend to be flatter and wider. The outside tends to be a bit crispy while the inside stays soft. Butter and maple syrup on top. Alot of people farm maple syrup in our area so it's easy to find fresh homemade syrup
I think one of the favorite kinds I like is ones with chocolate chips in it though I don’t have them often. Though I do also love aebloskiballs (not sure if I spelled it right) a Danish “pancake” that is a sphere. You use a special kind of pan for it and my family makes it for holidays and sometimes when we get together.
I'm Dutch so our pancakes are less thick but larger. With that batter made you fry up some bacon. Once that's done pour the batter over it. Add grated cheese on the uncooked side before flipping so it becomes nice and crunchy too.
I really like the savory pancakes you can get in Europe. I remember having pancakes with cheese, mushrooms and han while I was visiting Poland, and I thought they were pretty good.
Hey Chef I am a huge fan of yours I seen your reactions to food wars which was very informative and exciting and I’ve even cooked some stuff from Foodie Friday thanks to your teachings. P.S. You are actually one of my main inspirations to become a chef because how useful it is and how much fun you can have with it so thanks ChefPK and God bless you.
Brilliant... Learnt a lot ... not heard of using cream of tartar and the reason why before. Pancakes as a pizza base... or cheese and onion sauce with pancakes... mmmm! (you could do with using the end YT cards function)
Which are my favorite pancakes? The ones you just made!!! All kidding aside probably some fluffy traditional buttermilk pancakes with Dulce de leche. If I were to taste these it'd probably change especially if there was some vanilla paste added to that whipped cream (big fan of vanilla).
So, what here in brazil, the default pancake is a savory loose batter cooked thin (like a crepe i belive) with meat as filling and rolled. With ground beef is my favorite, but i'm really want to try this one
My favourite kind has to be Pönnukökur, an Icelandic version of French Crepes. You roll them up with just about anything, jam, whipped cream, or my favourite is using brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg to melt inside of the roll like a sauce before eating.
Just made it and ate them with strawberries on top. It was delicious, although I always have a little trouble getting that solid, fluffy texture from mixing the egg whites.
My favorite pancake style is crepes, or as I call them ‘clătite’ in Romanian! My Buni (grandma) used to make them fresh and ready every day when my siblings and I would come home from school. My mother isn’t Romanian so I haven’t had the chance to learn many of the recipes, but I taught myself how to make these simply because of their ubiquitous nature in my childhood, I hope to pass on the tradition to any of my children if I have them.
I made these this morning following your instructions, why my arthritic ass decided to hand whisk egg whites for the first time instead of using the mixer that was right next to me, I don't know. "Oh wow, this is hard and really hurts. But I can't give up now, I started this, I'm going to finish it." By damn I finished it, couldn't feel my hand after, but I whisked those egg whites to a stiff peak if I ever saw one. In the end they turned out really good, a lot of effort, but really good and fun to make.
Favorite pancake style is tied between my grandma's homemade buttermilk pancake recipe me and my grandma make all the time and my hoe cakes (aka Johnny cakes if you're a northerner, but basically a corn meal based pancake that sometimes also has fresh corn in it for extra texture) recipe. These look pretty good too tho and if I wasn't allergic to eggs I'd probably try this.
Uhhh pancakes , thats a tough one for me But we have a restaurant here that gave me an incredible idea , basically they are making crepes , fill them with various stuff (jam , fresh fruits , chocolate ... what ever you have) roll them up and put them in an ovenproof dish . Now you fold egg yolks , flour , sugar and a stiff meringue together put it on top of the crepes ans bake it basically you do a soma , and put a dessert onto another dessert , in this case you put 2 austrian dishes , "salzburger nockerl" (the souffle like ... thing) and "palatschinken" (the rolled crepes) together It is an extreme sugar rush for sure , but it tastes amazing
My favorite pancakes are the ones that happen to be in my mouth at the time. But I'm all honesty, I love a good buttermilk pancake, especially if the edges are just a bit crispy. Might be a boring choice, but they never taste boring!
I'm a sucker for the european style, being Swedish and all. Either just Swedish pancakes with whipped cream and berries/jam (Swedish jam contains around 35 % berries) and rolled into goodness, or french Lemon Sucre crêpes!
Strange whipped cream idea. Add like 2-3 teaspoons of dry red wine and home honey to cream then whip. This is strangely fantastic and nobody will guess what you made. It is awesome. You can also use fruit juice I recommend something kind of weird like blueberry juice.
had to google what kinds of pancakes there are but ive only really had american style haha but i have heard that korean pancakes are really good! now I want pancakes...
This makes me hungry and crave for something sweet. I really like pancakes but I like them kinda on the burnt side and covered in sugar syrup (since we can't afford actual syrup). This makes me wanna eat pancakes now (or waffles but that costs more). *Hears 3:48 * me: but raw pancake batter taste delicious though lol...
Those look good. I haven't had pancakes in a while. Savory is alright, but I prefer mine on the sweeter side. My ideal pancakes have a carmal sauce, whip cream, a little sea salt, and maybe some bananas. ... I'm getting hungry now
If i had to be a bit of a contrarian, I’d say crepes suzette, thin buttery pancakes with that sweet and bold overture of the alcohol flavoring and the fresh juicy fruit is always a win 😇
I'm South African. Over here, pancakes are crepes and what you call pancakes are crumpets :D So, my favourite types of crumpets are the British ones with a lot of butter and a smidgeon of honey with some warm hot chocolate. Guess I'm gonna have to make some, now lol.
I was haft expecting the wife to pull a Nora and make off the Pamcakes at some point. Also had an idea on something that might pair well with the next batch you make, Salted honey syrup. A cross between salted Carmel and light flavored honey.

I am glad you mentioned RWBY got you into cosplaying. I remember someone in RoosterTeeth saying they designed the characters to make them easier to cosplay.
Yup! That was Monty. His wife was a cosplayer and I love that all the characters had pockets.
Monty oum, creator of the series. He specifically made the characters outfits have pockets so people could cosplay rwby characters easier.
I love pancakes with the fruity syrups like IHOP has, strawberry and blueberry syrup YUM
Tbh I love throwing Jam on my pancakes, makes it so good

I love wheat berry pancakes with a little honey and butter. So deliciously natural, makes me feel like like a lumberjack.
And theres a syrup brand here in Texas that blends maple syrup and wildflower honey with a little vanilla and cinnamon. Sooo good.

My favorite pancake style has to be one from my childhood that my grandma would make all the time. Buckwheat pancakes, they’re not super sweet and the texture’s different but if you grew up with them you know how good they are.

I'm actually going to make pancakes now because of this video. However, I prefer thin and crispy cakes, almost crepe like ones.
dude made another 10 grand since filming this video + he has a kitchen with an island like he always wanted
The island is clutch! Going to be putting all of the money back into more AniBites and better content :)
I just hope one day, you are able to fly to Japan in order to meet the boys, and have a special where you all recreate your favorite anime dishes.
I'm so down
I remember finding this series (RWBY) on youtube almost 8yrs ago. Followed religiously until around 2016-17 I'm so far behind now. Though it's now on streaming platforms that I'm subscribed too. Lol

Gotta be honest,my favourite pancakes have got to be waffles lmao
Also blue blueberry pancakes from Percy Jackson :)
I don't think I have a favorite style of pancake. They're all magical! Need me some of that lemon salt, though.
I like piping whipped pancake batter on to a baking pan and freezing it, then deep frying (or air frying) them from that state.
My favourite pancakes are similar to what you have dished up, but I like the use of wholewheat in there. Still topped with maple syrup and blueberries (which I blend together to make a sauce before adding it to the pancakes)
Your cheesy grin with your pancakes happy dance makes me crack up; I do the same thing!!
I absolutely LOVE my mom's pancakes. She keeps them fluffy in the middle, but gives them a thin, crispy edge.
Tried to make these AND I LOVED THEM, gonna use this recipe every time i wanna make pancake, love your videos!!
The best pancakes I had when I was younger was my grandmother. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. She cooked it in one of those old school iron cast pan. I miss those. I miss my Grandma too.
I’m already drooling at how picture-perfect these pancakes look! 🤤🤤💜💜💕💕
Our pancakes tend to be flatter and wider. The outside tends to be a bit crispy while the inside stays soft. Butter and maple syrup on top. Alot of people farm maple syrup in our area so it's easy to find fresh homemade syrup
I like everything you make lol followed some of your recipes already, definitely adding this to the list

I just recently started rwby and I'm loving the story so far😊
Which are my favorite pancakes? The ones you just made!!!

I like Pancakes with Mixed Berries inside and on top of the Pancakes. With Creme Fraiche and Honey Vanilla Butter.
