Wow, didn't expect that first primer to do that! Beautiful green! I liked your tip about how much water to add to the paint, visually seeing it really helped.
@@tableflippinghousewife Yes, I paint furniture, but I usually use shellac based primer. I saw a youtuber use autobody primer (looks rust colored) which is cheap and in a spray can, but I havent tried it yet. It is oil based though.
@@heidisettles5537 I know what primer you’re talking about. I’ve seen him use it too. Zinsser Bin shellac based primer is the best but I like to spray things and I don’t want to put that into my sprayer since it’s oil based. And so expensive. I bought a spray can of it the other day for $22!!! That’s double what I could buy it for a year ago.
tip that might be helpful. on in rim of the paint can where the lid sits. take a nail and punch a few holes in the rim this way any paint will drip back into the can. i do this with lacquer etc.
Great instructions! You really demystify the process ! ThanksAmy. I look forward to more content
You are a gem!!!!!! ❤️
Lovely…I like wood conditioning the inside of drawers, leaves them beautiful.

Thank you! Right? Do you paint furniture? If you have a water based primer that you like, I’d love the recommendation.
