1. Country Carpenters: 26’ Gambrel Barn, starting at $48,745 - If you’re genuinely looking for that down-home country feel but don’t want to gut out an existing barn to do it, then Country Carpenters has just the model for you. Among their many barn-style homes stands the Gambrel Barn. It takes the traditional building methods of the Gambrel Barn and optimizes it to make the best use of the space to better suit your home and needs. It comes with pre-cut pressure-treated sills, a pre-cut post and beam frame, kiln-dried loft boards, premium sliding, 3 flower boxes, and heavy-duty stairs. This model truly has it all, and depending on your needs, the pricing starts at just $48,745 for the 26' x 24' model - even the 26' x 60' won’t push your budget too far - just shy of the 100k mark, at $89,430. While this is not Country Carpenters’ only model, it’s a sure-fire standout for all those country souls. With the right finishing interior touches, this barn would be quite lovely - and the flexibility of a simple interior will let your imagination go wild.
2. Legacy Post and Beam Homes: The Armstrong 4636, starting at $84,770 - On the higher end, the Armstrong will let you bring the ranch vibe into the modern era effortlessly and in style. It’s a freeform open-concept, with a 22’ center section and two 12’ sections - easy to break into a multi-room family home. The two-story design will allow you to create a separate living area downstairs and a sleeping area in the 700-square-foot loft. Alternatively, you can always break it into additional rooms to accommodate everyone. Whether you want to go open concept or more traditional - you’ll have everything you need to create the structure of your dreams, and from there, the sky is the limit. Legacy Post will meet you where you need it - with plenty of add-ons that can be fitted to your kit. It might not be for the hobbyist DIY-er, but with the right amount of elbow grease, you can get something good going. Legacy Post and Beam is another brand offering various options for the discerning homeowner, but the Armstrong 4636 is all about meeting you in the middle on all counts. The kit starts at just $84,770, making it far more accessible if you have the land to put it down on!
3. Hansen Pole Buildings: Pole Barns, starting at $7,000-70,000 - The real winners here are those looking for a budget-friendly win. Hansen Pole Buildings can meet you where you need to be with their varied and accessible Pole Barns. Starting at prices as low as just $7,000 for their Pole Barns; for some, that’s just a few months' rent. Pole barns have the appearance, functionality, and structural integrity of traditionally built homes, but they come in easily-assemble kits in various colors, sizes, shapes, and cuts, with endless customization options. This is your option if you’re on a time or budget crunch. They combine a traditional home's features, qualities, and amenities with optional staircases for your multi-level dreams and window fittings for plenty of natural light. They boast being cost-effective, sturdy, quick to deliver, and easy to assemble - could it get any better? The DIY drawback is that you must be at least handy to put this together - but less material means less stress. For some, this may be the lifestyle change you’ve been looking for - and it’s easier than ever to get your hands on!

Hi Can you please remove YBH homes from this video? We did not give you permission and the price is WRONG
Hi Can you please remove YBH homes from this video? We did not give you permission and the price is WRONG
Right! Wish they’d do models that matched price as advertised.
These prices are just for the basic building. Any additions will cost; foundation, electrical, plumbing, assembly, insulation, and all extras. We built a 24 x 24 two car garage pole barn cost 5 years ago, $28k.
Out quote for a 40x 40 barndo, just plain, was $230K in 2023. W/O well, septic, electric, etc. Don't even remind me of the cost of the property. Still haven't built yet.
That was the plain building not interior right
Yeah just the shell and foundation is 150-200k
I'm a home builder, and just a basic home will start at 140.00 a square foot. So yeah, these are for the shell.
Doing a Timberlyne home now . Been a nightmare. In the end it will be $388/ sq foot when including land , foundation , utility, and site clearance.
Jesus Christ
What state are you building it in? That seems awfully high!
Get one of these prefab Barndominium to better withstand against this ever changing climate instead of a mobile home. Have to believe God will provide and help us finish the inside..
key words, “starting at”…. the finished to have good quality of life is far more than the “starting at” price🤯
If you think you can build the one in the pic for under $50,000,,,you been living in a cave for 20 yrs😢😢😢😢
In a cave for 40 years 😂
Expect to spend two to three times the cost of the building for the interior.
That’s just the cost to buy the bare kit! At least another $150,000 to have someone build it and the cost to finish the insides
These people must think we're stupid
When they say starting price means that's just the start . Starting price means five times more than we're telling you
We all know that the structure is the price. Your design and fixtures and all the trimmings will def increase the price!
I'm very interested in one of these homes/ barns for me and my Dogs and Trucks and tools be a perfect fit!! BEAUTIFUL
Go for it!
I would love to have one of those homes
I’m looking at one on Texas on ten acres. Is 1800 square feet of living space. It has two huge storage areas where you could live or park your car. Asking $750,000. Realtor says she doesn’t understand them. Nice looking outside but most have toxic spray foam insulation so be wary of formaldehyde poisoning. They look quite late considering the usable square footage for actual living. I think that’s the draw-$200,000 cheaper than a stick built that appears as impressive and is $780,000 and 1950 square feet or maybe 2100. With porches.
These are easily $300,000 homes. They are listing just the prices for the kits, which do not include the price for labor, the price for concrete, electric, plumbing, well, septic, and interior. If you do it all yourself, yeah, you might be able to keep it under $200,000, but for the average person, you're spending $250k, $300k, maybe even $400k when it's all said and done.
Lovely
I wonder how much the plumbing and electricity added costs. I bet thst's where the real money comes in.
The real money comes in with all your finishes.
Then another $250,000 to finish and furnish.
still cheaper than higher a GC..i am a general contractor and our price is at $285.00 to $350.00 per SF,so do your math. Thats just to built
It's funny how comments are more informative than the videos lol
Where are you located and do you serve Northern Idaho?
She states that these prices are for the kits only. You will need a general contractor to erect it.
And then the price will balloon to as much or more than a regular home.
@@dan_hitchman007 true or you could do most yourself. My neighbor just built his.
Thank s for the tip
You're welcome
Does anyone know who designed or built the home at 6:03? Thank you
Are any of them completed and what would the cost be
Hi, Can you please remove YBH homes from this video? We did not give you permission and the price is WRONG
Go eat ice
That has to be the price of materials only.
It is... The KIT
It's just for the shell of the house ONLY. Everything plus labor is extra 😂
This sounds to good to be true
Some of it is DEFINITELY too good to be true. For example, the initial unit (red Gambrel) costing less than $50K?? LOLOL. More like $150K would be more believable. But that's why they call it "CLICK BAIT" because overly-fantastic claims gets the eyeballs.
It’s just the starting kit price, you’re buying the shell, everything else is additional
So is this bare bones i build and do you deliver to canada
👍👍
A termites paradise!
Do You live in a wooden house as 90% of Americans do then your house is a termite paradise.
That's just the outside, you have to finish all the inside, pour alot if concrete etc etc... don't be fooled
What is your website
All the "normal" (not barndomiums) seem to be priced at $300K and up. I am wondering what the "catch" is.
If you don't sleep with one eye open it might collapse and kill u lol
The catch is hiring a contractor who can actually assembled the parts well, but you also need a foundation and water, electrical, waste disposal, etc. etc. besides the land. These are NOT cheaper houses.
This is just for the shell, just the materials themselves. The contractor to build it, foundation, plumbing, electrical, interior framing, insulation, etc, etc... are not included in this cost.
I'm looking for something around 12/1300 sf
The thing is, they’re not counting the insulation and the wall panels and the electric or the sewage hook ups that’s just the outside that’s just the shell…
Hi @cainemsnow3841, the price is only for the kit or structure.
I just need to know if there is a turn-key under $200k.
Do you have contact info for the Blue Jay builder?
Don't you know how to use Google, Alexa or Siri?
Difficult to believe when pole barns are 200k
This is just the shell, people.
I am looking for a steel building not a termite attraction.
Then why did you watch. This is a dumb comment.
Go for it then
I need 2/3 bed for less than a hundred with real fireplace at my land
Show me more
Nope not buying into the start price illusion, just give me the total cost and let’s be done with it
Hahah the 24x26 model is 48k and the 26x60 is just under 100k...major click bait!!!
Do you all build in Virginia
yes
Trying to build this in the DMV area (Fairfax County). Nothing under a million. Better do some more research and find investors.
Tell me I need one level house for less than a hundred thousand dollars. Can anyone build it? 2 beds open kitchen and living room with front porch and back porch and real fire wood place
Don't believe you can buy a home like this for under 50k
BULLSHITE..I love these click bait videos..ITS $ 100 PER SQUARE FOOT..FACTS PPL
Sooo misleading. Add shipping, assembly, permits, taxes, windows, concrete slab, plumbing, electrical, hvac, sewage and the list goes on. These will all cost between 200k to 400k
Most o the imagery isn't of the barns.
I don’t believe it
I think this is wonderful builds!!!! Some people you just can not please!!! My mom said if you do have something good to say, keep your mouth shout!!!!¡!!!!!
keep your mouth shout??
Why would you keep your mouth shut if you had something good to say? 🤔
“Starting at”…..sounds like a car dealer. And we all know where that goes….🙄
@Techligent, please remove Yankee Barn Homes from your video. You are providing misinformation regarding our product. We do not give you permission to use our marketing content.
Hi YBH, kindly check your email (info@...homes.com)
ai video
You aint getting one of these for under 100k
You can't even build the basic building for that the slab the sewer and the walls this is bs
Might as well hire a contractor for a small basic minimalist home. I do not like mobile homes or RV. Tiny homes are very code restricted to find a place to park it. All i see are fancy expensive homes.
Click bait 😂
Does the narrator have a deviated septum? She may want to go see a doctor.
lol bait and switch ha hahahahaha we are so doomed as a country.
You read that wrong Alexa. The price of that post and beam home was 90 to 120 square feet. Not 90 for 120 square feet. I wish you people would stop using AI to narrate your videos and just get a person who is used to talking normally to do it.
Hi @willowm94, we apologize for the mistake. None of our videos are narrated using AI. All videos are written, recorded, narrated and edited by humans.
Under 100k 😂 not a chance
Click click why does modern society require so much lying?
Lies ans lies,
Robot videos…yuk
This is made of wood will all be gone if there is a wildfire.
Yes, perhaps true. However, over 90% of American built homes are made of wood or wood frames.
I have a friend that has an all-concrete home. It is beautiful but it was quite expensive to design and build.
Any home will burn if it gets hot enough lol
@@ryanholubek8371 not brick
Debdie Downer... at it again ...
This is the dumbest comment I’ve ever read lol
Fake as f&$*. This would push $250k with septic/well and excavation
Video is deceiving.
Could someone please contact me to set up apt ?
I can help you
