It never made sense why shield health pools are weaker in OW2 than they were in OW1

Genji realy need a buff. a huge buff
They literally can’t do anything without the metal rank support players whining about him being “OP.”
They talked recently about changing some heroes health to 225 in exchange for power elsewhere. If it means bringing back 29 damage shuriken and 120 blade that might actually let him be more impactful

@@nowun6043honestly that's unlikely to do much, because genji is a breakpoint hero and the only breakpoint that changes with those buffs is nanoblade, so kinda nothing for genji himself. A better thing to do would be to go 28dmg + 2.5x hs multiplier and 125dmg undmgboostable blade if they decide to stay on 250hp for squishies and revert his hp down to 200/225.

Nah not useless, He just doesn't reward you as much as he should for playing him well.
Feels like you have to play perfect to get value and that value isn't even that high compared to other high-skill ceiling heros like him.
Funnily Genji is like the 6th best DPS but he is so much worse than the top 5 he does not do anything outside of coordinated teamplay.

6th best is crazy especially when hp pools got buffed but genji's mediocre damage didn't, and basically half the cast counters him in some way for free.

There are definitely worse heroes rn. Unless I’m getting counterpicked it’s pretty easy to get good value on Genji. It’s when you one trick him that he becomes problematic and difficult to play because you’re playing him into difficult situations
