My puppy's stool is still soft. He is negative for any parasites/parvo. She had been treated for giardia was on antibiotic. Recheck done and all is negative. no worms either. only thing is she eats wet food. Thinking of slowly transitioning to kibble.
My puppy came with a vet check and letter from that vet. We were on a 3 hour trip home from where we picked her up. I've had her home 2 days now. Today makes day 3 I'm mixing her food with some puppy food I got. She's very active though and goes regular. She's a 9 week old Cocker Spaniel. Idk if that matters or not. She has been dewormed and her 2 or 3 rounds of shots (I have to look but I think it's 2) I know it's not parvo. I've had parvo puppies and I have worked around them when I worked in the clinic. That's something YOU KNOW and DO NOT forget. She eats and drinks really well. So idk the loose soft stool isn't affecting her. It just bothers me bc it's not a semi solid form.
I been giving my puppy Proviable Nutramax she is under 8 weeks how ever I recently took her to the vet and she does have GI and they had recommended me this. It’s been about 2 weeks and it seems not to go away she’s been on a bland food diet as well as I feed you a bit a pumpkin purée with her meds . There are days we’re she has a heavy appetite and days where she doesn’t. I was watching another you tube video and a man had recommended prednisone half 5mg a day or even pepto. I feel like she will not make it as she is tired all day and not much interactive. Is there another option I can give her for hard stools
