    Thank you! Just what I was searching for, when I was searching for it! I have a closet full of various fabric shoes (mostly white) & you provided the insight I was desperately seeking. I've been holding the nano in my hand for months but couldn't press down, for fear of discoloring. Bought a cheap pair of whites and went for it. Just as you described, it's 100% Effective. Now I'm addicted to sprinkling water on my shoes! ❤😊❤😊

      I brought all my favorite shoes out & lined them up like little science experiments. All so sparkling and clean. I emptied a can of nano on them. But it wasn't enough. I quickly learned, it can be spread too thin. There aren't any good videos about it but there is a method of application you have to adhere to. I learned while listening to you. There's: a can to shoe ratio - but no one is mentioning it. You could add that to your library. Just saying 😊

    Great video thank you for the info. On companies whit holding the some of the active or in active ingredients info on their labels is true but if you want to obtain all the ingredients it’s possible they should have a page on their website that has an MSDS form for a few reasons on is when distributing any aerosol or chemical on an airplane the MSDS form has to be printed and attached to the shipping box.

    The "lotus effect" comes from the flower, the flower is water and dustproof. Nothing stays on it, it rolls over. NASA discovered when they needed something for their space suits and all pieces of equipment to be dust-free. Hance, Nanotehnology.

    Saphir and Tarrago are now owned by the same company Avel.
    Saphir have also a nano invulner (not Medaille d'Or), maybe it's the same as tarrago.

    Does the can say 24hours? I didn't read that, maybe I missed it. I just applied 1 coat of Saphir on my Cole Haan Men's Originalgrand Cloudfeel Energy Merid Pt Oxford Summer Casual Shoes, which are a NuBuck Leather feel to them. I don't have s problem waiting, I caught your video just in time 🤦🏼‍♂️
    I only Use Saphir on my Red Wing Olive Mojave Suede Leather as well as My Muleskinner Boot and Shoe Collection from Red Wing.
    The reason I use Saphir is it will come off when using a suede shampoo to clean your suede or NuBuck Shoes or Boots. Those Silicone Based Waterproofing spray are almost impossible to come off. I would use that cheap stuff on boots I plan not to clean or really care about, but for good Suede and Decent looking Shoes like Cole Haan I would only use Saphir.
    Thanks for sharing.

    can't find the Saphir stuff anywhere.,... just the Renovateur ... but I can get the Nano.... question is, if I use the Nano on Suede boots... will I still be able to apply conditioner (Renovateur Spray) or shampoo them later? or are they now forever impregnated with waterproofer?

    • @CobblersPlus
      @CobblersPlus  2 года назад +1

      The Saphir waterproofed is out of stock everywhere right now due to supply chain problems. The nano will come off the smooth leathers because you should be using a conditioner or polish that 99% of the time for smooth leather has waxes in it. Only thing is you will have to clean it before reconditioning and at that time the waxes from the polish will come off with the nano

    • @codyfrancis4474
      @codyfrancis4474 Год назад

      That's the thing with the nano is that it is too good and you will not be able to recondition it later

    I have hiking shoes I want to waterproof. Would you recommend the nano? And doesn’t it prevent beathability? Do you do the inside of the shoe as well?

    • @CobblersPlus
      @CobblersPlus  3 года назад +2

      Just the outside. It doesn’t 100% make the boots waterproof it’s to make the materials repel the water so they don’t get damaged not to keep your feet dry. The tarrago nano is the one I recommend for hiking boots

    Tarago nano ya superior In other brands. But you need tarago in all your shoes not. Probably for shoes with retail prices below $100 any protectant spray will do the work. Inclusive kiwi and griffin.
    For quality suede, tarago is your brand
