I've done all of these things, and more, yet it's been over a year and I cannot get the dating app back. It doesn't show up in the search either, it's like it's not a thing any more

This video didn't help at all, and I was actually so done that I straight up tried adding "/dating" to the facebook homepage url... and it says you have to be on mobile. So I uninstalled the app on my phone, reinstalled it, still no Dating option. Typed that url on a mobile browser, it just links me to Facebook in the app store.... Garbage video, it's obviously just disabled for some unclear reason and can't be accessed.

No issues creating a new account afterwards. Once told to jump through these hoops, I said, "Yeah, right!" and went to delete my account. Then I was informed that if I deleted my account at that point, I would never be able to create another one. WARNING! WARNING! (Like, they were pretty blatant about it.) But I dissed it and deleted my account anyway (thinking to simply create a new one like I had before). Wasn't going to send them my ID and a face video. They say they need "proof" that I'm over 18, when I've had my Facebook profile for almost 15 years with my birthday blatant -and all my pictures indicating I'm clearly over 18. Have tried every way in the world to get the Dating app back, including a brand-new account under another name....and no dating icon ever even appears. FAAA-RUSTRATING!!! Who are these people /things?!?

Update. So this might help some of you.. like you I have no dating icon.. I still don’t. But I can access it by clicking the link in a google search.. there is an official link.. HOWEVER, I click on it and denied because of age I think , but my setting age is set correctly.. so I’m guessing a bug is preventing the icon from showing it thinks I’m not of age… It’s a lot more I got from these shit videos
I just went ahead and made another Facebook just for the dating. It's there and I can use it now. So I can keep it from my personal Facebook where I connect with my family & friends.

If you deleted your Facebook Dating profile, you can usually set it up again by going to the Facebook app, tapping on the menu, and selecting Facebook Dating to start the process from scratch. 😊

And as soon as I try to confirm / activate it, everything's stalls and it tells me there's an error. I can never get any further than that! Very frustrating. But the heart icon literally never appears on the actual FB Play Store app.

Hold down on your preferences for your pinned apps on your settings preference bar shortcuts you’ll find it there and it loud you to unhide it

Says 3-4 months if your account has restrictions. Facebook jail. Or being reported can also be a reason they won't let people use fb dating
