I love that you are sharing this with your baby girl this is one of the finest bands that ever walked the face of the earth and I'll fight the man that says different 🙂
"Ever Dream" is the sixth single by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. Released as the first single from the band's fourth studio album, Century Child, it was the group's first single in two years, following "Deep Silent Complete" in 2000.
Hello Jeremy. Thank you for continuing to bring your family and others to the best band on the planet. Nightwish Army Phoenix here for you. Keep these fantastic reaction videos coming.
Thanks for sharing your reaction to a song that is a deeply personal exploration of love and longing (obviously from Tuomas' perspective), characterized by its rich imagery and emotional vulnerability. The song captures the essence of yearning for connection while also reflecting on the transformative power of love, making it a quintessential Nightwish track that resonates with listeners on multiple levels.
They actually had three very good singers before Marko left. Troy Donockley, a very talented british multi instrumentalist and singer joined the band around the same time Floor did. Speaking of Floor, she lives here in Sweden, and is married to the drummer of the swedish metal band Sabaton. You should take a look at her RUclips channel if you want to get to know her a little better. She has some fun, interesting, and reaction worthy stuff on her channel.
Well done! It's funny how often it happens, that no matter what age a person gives that one chance to Nightwish, how often they like it, regardless of their previous musical background. Not everyone like it, it would be insanely boring, but as a long-time fan, you can only hope that people give that one chance. Greetings from never cold Finland!
Jeremy you are just like me, everyone I meet, if the subject of music is raised, I'm like a 'musical evangelist' I try my hardest to convert them to Nightwish! I purposely carry with me pieces of paper, and a pen, just so I can scribble down two or three Nightwish live pieces and I make them promise to listen/watch them on RUclips.
Nice ,it's always apreciated when people promote Nightwish to others.👍 But,have a look at your sound settings,it sounds a bit "thin" ,like the Bass or lower frequenties are put down. The thing is with Nightwish that , if you know the history of the band and also Floor ,everything get's even more impressive, especially this concert and how Floor became the lead vocalist is realy epic and there is a documentary ,"learn the setlist in 48 hours" ,a must ,to watch.😉🤘
I totally understand where you're coming from. I've been a Nightwish fan for 15+ years and make my boys watch the videos. They like Nightwish a little, they like Epica more and Babymetal a lot. Go figure.
considering you know them you can show her her friends like Simone, Alissa WG, Eliza Ryd (they have been with Kamelot many years ago and two of them saved the gig before Floor joined the band. I like all the groups Arch Enemy, Epica and Amaranthe but Simone and Alissa did a song quite recently which is good and Alissa is from Canada so next door to you. Then you can check out Floor's husband's band Sabaton and the song "no bullets fly" SABATON - No Bullets Fly (Animated Story Video) ruclips.net/video/dslO-3GgenY/видео.html but when I link a song I link some more SIMONE SIMONS - Cradle to the Grave ft. Good job, sir! Won another soul for Nightwish and Floor. Keep on spreading the NW vibe. Greetz from the Netherlands.
Great job spreading the music of Nightwish
Carry on spreading the word.
It’s a crime that they don’t get the recognition they deserve.
In the U.S. Where music is controlled by giant corporations. South America, Europe...they know Nightwish.

Another Dutch band you might want to try and is in Nighwish's orbit: Epica
Great reaction! I enjoy GLS, but I think Everdream or Storytime are better choices for first time listeners.
They've all enjoyed Nightwish but all the kids have very little expression during the song. Wonder if that is from cellphone isolation?

some songs to listen to
Hate to be the party pooper but, whilst I love Floor, this particular song is best performed by Nightwish’s original vocalist Tarja.
No, it’s not. One trick pony Tarja can’t even stand in her shadow
@ each to his own I guess
Also see Floor's the covers .
