    Sorry for the sad news, hang in there good things happen to good people. We will be here if you need to take a break. Its good to know that even the artists I admire can at time struggle for inspiration. I also struggle with the day job taking time from my art journey.

    Here I am, working from home with YT on, in my jammies too :) Comfort is everything. I am envious of your gorgeous space :) I would love to do a studio video, yet I am in a small bedroom, so its chaos and a little too chaotic to show in full. Cute puppy. I have a kitted similarly named (Maze short for Mazikeen). My husband just bought the same tripod. I think I actually have your old one.

      Thank you! I agree. Comfort is everything! As I have gotten older, I notice I have more and more sensory issues when it comes to certain clothing, lol. Thank you, I love my studio. It's my dream space. It took a lot of work and renovations over a long period of time, but I finally have the space I have always wanted. That being said, there is no shame in having a smaller space. I happened to be lucky to have a storage space I could convert. But before then, I had a small space and even had to work in my living room for years. As long as you have a place that speaks to your creativity and helps you to let go and get in the flow, that's all that matters! And it may not hurt to share that space with others, if you can find a comfortable way to film it, because it would be good to show others how you make your space work for you. There are so many people who can relate to that and may be looking for ways to work more efficiently in the space they have. 💖

    "Day job." That says it all. lol! I didn't realize you worked in a hospital. Curious to what your role is there? If you are a nurse, then please know that for me - nurses are *absolute superheroes!* Going through brain surgery years ago, I learned very intimately what nurses have to deal with day-to-day. So, if that's your role, you have an even bigger fan in me than prior. As for the video, it must be the time of year for folks to get in cleaning mode! Your space is absolutely loaded with fun! Maizy (sp?) is adorable and I love love that Starry Night chair! Fabulous! Thank you for a peek into your studio world and sharing the space where your mind can be free. Really wonderful!! Cheers and stay well! ~ Mark

      Thank you so much, Mark! I will let Maisie know that you think so highly of her! Haha. She's the sweetest girl, and I am so blessed to have her in my life!
      I am actually a pharmacy technician, but I agree! Nurses are superheroes! I'm so glad that you got the care that you needed through that trying time!
      My studio is my favorite place to be, I put a lot of love and care into the space to make it my dream studio! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it! As always, thank you for watching and for your kind words!

      @@CautionArtistatPlay thank you, right back! Sorry for the misspell, Maisie! lol! A good friend works at a big hospital in Boston as the lead pharmacy person (not sure what her title is), and I've heard all the wondrous and inexplicable stories she's shared in her work. Thank you for serving in a caregiving role. I've often wondered what life would have been like if I'd chosen to pursue a role in medicine? Then, the "M.D." in my name would have more significance that just "Mark Daniel!!" LOL!! Stay well!!

    • @CautionArtistatPlay
      @CautionArtistatPlay  5 месяцев назад +2

      Haha, it's no problem. It has multiple spellings! You made me laugh with the M.D. thing! Interestingly enough, I never really had much interest in being in the medical field when I was growing up. I started off in a retail pharmacy as a cashier in my early 20's, then became a technician. I got into hospital pharmacy shortly after that, and I have been a technician, all told, 14 years now. Certainly not the path I pictured, it's a good job, and I love my co-workers. That being said, I would still love to do art full-time as that's where my passions lie. However, I am very thankful for what I have, especially in times like these.

      @@CautionArtistatPlay funny, my pre-driver's license job in high school was as a retail pharmacy cashier. lol!! A family run place before the big chains took over. I think I got paid a whopping $3.85 an hour back then! lol!

      @CautionArtistatPlay  5 месяцев назад +2

      That is funny! I worked for one of the big chains, and it was...interesting. lol I started as a regular cashier, then moved back to the pharmacy and went to my tech license, and never even got a raise for it! I went from selling Skittles to counting drugs, and the company was like, eh, same rate seems about right! 🙄 I much prefer hospital pharmacy.

    Shana, I felt sick (I don’t exaggerate), when you talked about that life-changing phone call. I feel certain that despite this happening, you will both prevail. I don’t have much as I can no longer work due to a Neurological disability, but I feel when things are tight, every little helps? I would purchase your artwork, but shipping costs to Scotland are always prohibitive. 🎨👩🏻‍🎨🖌️❤️ Thinking of you!
