Hey, the acoustics is better in the back room instead of upfront in the store! It helps bring out that '47 Gibby Jimbo.
All the Gibsons that were made here in my hometown of Kalamazoo Michigan always seem to sound the best and that guitar is no exception it sounds amazing
I agree - I've got a 58 LGO, small mahogany body, but it has that ring to it ,just like this one. Give me an old Gibson anytime !!
beautiful. I have a 1944 SJ... My dad alway took it camping with us and we always sang around the campfire.

Best sounding flat top I've heard in a minute.. although everything tends to sound great when Lemmo gets ahold of it.
That's the model that Don Everly played on the first Everly Brothers hits, "By, Bye Love" and "Wake Up little Suzie"!!!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of these. However I am unsure of year. The shop I bought it from think 48 or 49 but I am unsure. Mine has a belly down bridge closed single klusons and small teardrop pickguard. And of course a sound I am totally in love with.
