Thanks for the lesson man, hell of a job covering all parts of the song, not just the rhythm as I would be afraid some lessons would.

This is awesome. I found, for me, that it was easier to get into hearing out the chords after starting with the riff. Thanks for this guy

Another great tutorial! I like how you end many videos with a comment about 'this will give you some ideas on how to approach the song.' I was able to mix some of your ideas with some of mine and record / post it on my channel. Thanks again Tim!

Thanks Tim! Love Gregory Alan Isakov, and happy to see you do a tutorial on one of his great songs, maybe San Luis next? Would also really love an Invisible Riverside lesson, by an artist whose name I hope to speak about again. :)

I appreciate all the detail some of these guitar lessons go into, "3rd finger, 3rd fret, sixth string, 2nd finger, 1st fret, 2nd string," etc..., etc....however, if someone needs every finger placement, string and fret explained to them they aren't going to be playing this song any time soon. Lessons like this should be prefaced with "if you can't fluently change between most of your basic open chords, just keep practicing and come back when you can".. Now I know that is just my opinion and is probably negativity the guitar community doesn't need. This guy is doing us all a favor with this lesson but, it is just torture when every note, on every string and every exact finger placement is gone over in excruciating detail it becomes hard to sit though it... Sincerely though. Thank you for making this lesson.

When I hear someone detailing the finger placement I like to imagine that this might be the song that someone has picked up a guitar to learn. This guy's tutorial is great and I remember when I was first learning I was extremely thankful for this kind of detail.

This song in terms of chords is really easy but it’s been really hard for me to establish a pattern of chords. They kind of always change and mix up

      Intro is C/G, G, and F
      First verse: C, G, Am, G, F, G, C x2
      Second:
      C, G, Am, G, F x2, C x2, F, G, C x2
Then the verses go back and forth between the two. Hope this helps!

🤷‍♂️ well the introduction instrumental part I did had more than one guitar part layered that would require multiple people to play… and then I broke down how to play the multiple parts

this was the poorest explanation i've ever seen.
At first you try to teach me the C chord, which everyone started with decades ago, and then you totally rush through the hardest parts. After your nice playthrough at the beginning you should have ended the video.

Omg dude you speak way too fast when saying which fingers go where. God damn
