  • Welcome to Itunu’s Kitchen! Today, I’m bringing you my decadent Blackout Banana Bread recipe. If you love chocolate and bananas, this is the ultimate treat for you. Packed with rich cocoa, gooey chocolate chips, and ripe bananas, this banana bread is so moist and indulgent-it’s guaranteed to disappear in no time!
    ✨ Ingredients:
    3 ripe bananas (mashed)
    1/2 cup melted butter
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup cocoa powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
    ✨ Instructions:
    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
    2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl and mix in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
    3. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold until combined.
    4. Stir in chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
    5. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top for that 'blackout' effect!
    6. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    7. Let it cool before slicing (if you can wait that long!).
