Yay, for denim jackets!!! I probably own 10 or more in different cuts, colors, buttons, and lengths!!! All my girls got a denim jacket every fall when they were little girls. MY favorite is shopping for them at thrift stores!!! Soooo many high-end & unique styles!!!
I'm 5 ' 11" and my jeans have naturally been cropped forever lol. Wide leg has always been my preference. I will be wearing my skinnies this fall and winter because that's what works tucked into boots. I can't imagine a winter I don't sport that look.
It also kind of reminds me of the wide leg skater jeans from the 90s (when I was in junior high). At least it was popular with the kids my age in Canada.
*hotdups* You are so well-informed about luxury accessories and bags. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
I appreciate an effortless and well put together look. Americans are too casual? That is ok . Europe is the old world. America the new, I think we all can learn from each other. Denim jacket are effortless and cool. Also for all to know the blazer is called Americana for a reason. What I want to say is both ways are ok, do not feel bad or less for looking American in Europe. Being different is ok, actually it is good. Embrace your style and have fun with fashion.
Totally agree, who wants to walk around looking exactly like everyone else, 😮 and I hate sloppy, Ido not like those wide leg jeans. They do not look right on me. I like bootcut or straight jeans, they look best on me
@@blancacedeno5894 Why do we care if Europeans do or do or wear denim jackets? I wear a classy Ralph Lauren denim jacket from yesteryear dressed up or down. I am well dressed at the appropriate times. Besides, I travel to Europe, but I don’t live there.
That’s a good comment. As an American, and a very chic and stylish one, I often bring a denim jacket when I travel and don’t wear it much at home. It never wrinkles and goes well with almost anything.
Hello, I was just in Norway and Sweden. It was denim everywhere. Also, floral dresses and floral skirts and SNEAKERS! I packed two pairs of sneakers, nb237 and Cole Han white leather. I never wore my sandals I brought. I saw denim jackets there, but I think Scandinavian fashion is more relaxed. I love denim, nothing better than denim and t-shirts. I really enjoy your channel and fashion sense. For reference I am 71 years old and 4ft 11in 95lbs.

Spending $20,000 on a handbag is the obvious choice versus spending $200 on a *hotdups* bag and investing the remaining $19,800, since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to increase in value.
I chuckled at your description of the adoption process of some new trends - from thinking "who in their right mind would wear this?" to "turns out - me!" Loved all the denim pieces on you, I think dark denim looks classy.
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the *hotdups* as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Classic jeans in a medium dark wash, with moderately wide legs, and a length just barely grazing the floor. THAT look is slimming, classy, and looks great in a dressy vibe paired with a crisp white shirt, OR dressed down with a cute cropped top. Add a good bag and some statement jewelry, and OUT the door in style!
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *hotdups* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym yt

Anna you have been looking exceptionally beautiful lately! You have always been pretty but now you’re like a real stand out!! Couldn’t help but tell you! 😊
I love denim!! It's pretty much all I wear. In the summer I live in denim skorts. The blue denim colored jacket and matching skirt you have are absolutely beautiful!! 😊
I'm in Belgium (not too far from Paris), and yes, people wear denim jacket :) The actual trend is more oversize than the examples you showed in this video, but still ;)
I'm only 5'2, so I've been wearing my jeans cuffed for years, especially my wide leg jeans. I cuff my barrel jeans, too, it totally gives them a different look.
The first time I saw barrel jeans, I thought, who the hell would wear these? Then I tried them on... now I own 5 pairs in different washes. 😊 I absolutely LOVE them. You can pair them with the most simple top, and the jeans automatically make your outfit look elevated. My favorites are the Moxie barrel jeans by Free People.

Everything looks so good on you because you have a perfect model’s figure: tall and slender! I’m 5’3 and hour glass shape, so I have to find the denim looks that would fit me. I loved everything about this video!
I am very into the barrel leg trend, but not the overly exaggerated ones. I have jeans, cotton pants and even a pair of faux leather ones. I started wearing them last year and am glad they are still going strong.
I love the barrel leg jeans on you!!! It makes me want a pair!! I am NOT on board with denim jackets. The models you showed look great but most Americans can deteriorate the hell out of a great look by putting on a denim (blue jean) jacket
For me it’s straight leg, bootcut and yes skinny jeans (not jeggings). The classics. No superfluous stuff on them. Definitely not anything cropped either. All these trends may look really cut on other people but on me it’s just ridiculous.
I think that height isn’t the issue, it’s more about proportion. I’m 5’ 1” , or 2” if I do a lot of yoga , and I wear wide leg with a high waist. I do have a long torso and this style makes my legs look longer!

Hey Anna, thank you for the great video. I've always thought that you're very beautiful but you look absolutely incredible here. Blonde hair + dark denim + red lipstick suits you amazingly. I'm on a quest to find this or a similar top and achieve the same look. Thank you :)
Dont know what is going on lately but you look great - glowy and fresh! You always look great and I really love your content. Thanks for keeping us looking just as good as you❤
I love this video as I am keen on denim looks for females and males and not just because of practicality of being on the move or having to be around or work around a more rugged environment or something. As for preferences on certain styles, color tones etc. it just depends mostly on fit and body style but in general I am not big on cuffing or with skirts prefer knee length unless matched with some high boots and that despite my penchant for wanting to look at women's legs. I simply like the longer look with denim for some reason unless it is shorts and t-shirts being highlighted. Color tone is situational. For the most part I think that when wearing jeans the slightly worn or faded look is more appealing to me but I've seen some knock out sexy new darker tones on many occasions so if the person is comfortable with the fit and style then the look will fall into place no matter what. The barrel jeans? I had never seen or heard of until now. After looking at some various pics I think they look better on women than men but that may be more of a personal visual bias on my part since I am male and so don't look at a lot of males modeling clothing--I'm afraid there is nothing I can do about that...ha.
I hate these barrel leg jeans. Who would want to look bow-legged? It’s a no for me. I’ll stick to my straight leg, boot leg, and god forbid, skinny jeans 😅
First of all I have been loving your hair. The longer length and color is beautiful on you.❤ It is much more difficult wearing the right Jean when you are short. I'm 5' 1". Good thing I don't care for the barrel leg jeans because they would make my legs look stubby.😅 I did like the one you were modeling. I love my denim jackets. I have 2. The good thing about them, I feel like I can wear those without them going out of style. As far as the wash in a Jean, I like medium wash. I don't have anything supper special to attend so they serve me well. I either have casual place to go, or weddings and funerals. Neither of the last 2 I would wear jeans anyway. Skirts or a dress. Love you and your videos.
I am skipping denim bags, reminds me of something a pre-teen would wear. Also embellishments, again it seems so 6th grade. Your top is so cute, and the hair Anna...glorious!
You’re looking fab! Love the denim vest. I am also here for wide leg and dark wash denim. Too shrimpy to get away with cuffed jeans though. You’re right, it has to fit and flatter you.
Love most of these denim trends! Barrel leg is still a no go for me lol. Can you do a video on what boots to wear with wide leg or straight leg jeans/pants? I live in Canada and have been having a hell of a time trying to find a pair I like, especially during the winter months. I love your practical tips!
Denim totes, yes! I love Levi's ones as they tend to be fairly structured and they're very strong - great for shopping. I accessorise mine with art badges/brooches and silver bag charms. Other denim bags and shoes - no.
I love the blue clothing that looks like denim. The Rag and Bone Miramar soft cotton denim is also great. One trend that’s a no go for me is patchwork and multiple toned denim. Just not a fan. Great video!
I don't think nobody, like NOBODY in Paris wears denim jackets. 1. Not possible. 2. People in Paris dress like any other people with exception of rich ones.
I got emails this morning from Old Navy and Michael Kors showcasing denim on denim looks, and I thought wow a lot of denim most be the top trend for fall. Then I open RUclips and see this video and also a music video by Lady Gaga wearing full denim in my feed. I kind of feel targeted by denim 😂
It would be nice to link "budget friendly" options for these trends in your videos. As many people mention below - $200--$300 jeans and tops are definitely not in my budget. The clothes are beautiful but a pair of jeans is groceries for 2 weeks for my family LOL.
Gray and washed black denim is instant cool 🥰 Barrel leg is THE best thing ever. Fits my thunder tights and big butt LOL AND they taper at the ankle a little so the shape is super flattering. Regarding the denim jacket, can't speak for Parisians, but in Switzerland IF you get a denim jacket, it will be oversized and leaning towards typical 90's shapes. I love mine a lot and can't wait for the weather to get cold to take them out again. The slim 2010's cut is completely out of style at the moment.
I have never seen Parisian (and French women in general) wearing denim jackets; however, they wear denim shirts frequently either as a shirt or as a jacket, opened over a Tshirt or, of course, with a blazer, which is, of course, de rigueur in every Parisian woman’s wardrobe.
In Poland we do wear the denim jacket every year. We love it. We have in plenty of colours it. 😉 Based on trousers denim, I do prefer those an elegant and classy style. Those which you have presented because they are on top on Instagram, are horrible. I do like your denim skirt 😉 Thank you for the video. 🥰
I have a denim baguette l’ve owned for 20 years. It’s one of the most hard working pieces in my wardrobe, especially in warmer months. But then again, l don’t care that much about being trendy
@@donnabeach1250 Baguette bags are small and streamlined bags. Named after the French bread because they usually have short straps and are carried under the arm (like they carry bread in France).
Interesting observation about the denim jacket! I had a similar experience in Scandinavia this past spring. I noticed that the only women I saw in the baggy wide-leg jeans were American. The European women seemed to stick to bootleg.
I wore my 1st denim jacket as a teenager almost 50yrs. ago, and it has been a staple in my wardrobe ever since.

Hahahahha the internet is always listening 😀🤣🤣
Wow, girl! Look at you! That denim top ❤
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Anna, you look beautiful- perfect top, lip and hair -
Love your videos! You look fantastic. What lipstick are you wearing?
VB Dylan is 40% off in light wash @Nordstrom - just FYI 😊. I grabbed a pair… hoping I like the fit. So cute on you Anna!
Is there a link for the denim top worn throughout the video?
Hi Anna, love your channel. Where did you get the cream/ivory strappy sandals from? I love ‘em.
I'm on board with cuffed jeans too. I think they look better at ankle length, otherwise looks a bit sloppy.
I have a denim baguette l’ve owned for 20 years. It’s one of the most hard working pieces in my wardrobe, especially in warmer months.
But then again, l don’t care that much about being trendy
What exactly is a denim "baguette". Are you meaning a small denim bag?
@@donnabeach1250 it’s the small underarm bag (google ”fendi baguette” to get the picture of the size and shape)
@@donnabeach1250 Baguette bags are small and streamlined bags. Named after the French bread because they usually have short straps and are carried under the arm (like they carry bread in France).
@@og6920 I didn’t know that.😊
Interesting observation about the denim jacket! I had a similar experience in Scandinavia this past spring. I noticed that the only women I saw in the baggy wide-leg jeans were American. The European women seemed to stick to bootleg.
Ur HAIR looks GREAT! whatcha do?
The puppy!!!❤🐶
He’s always making a cameo 🐶
