She was under Amon's influence, at that time she really didnt care about Mengsk, she was satisfied with the revenge she got on him in sc1. But now that shes complelty in control of her own thoughts, the desire for revenge is stronger than ever. Before her goals were for the hive, now her goals are personal.
@Douglas Babb likely the Overmind knew that in time Kerrigan would be free from Amon's influence, but the fate of the Swarm still depended on Raynor's decision.
Nah just willing to kill millions on a densely populated world, give power to a force that seeks to wipe out humanity, and basically kill anything in her path just to get petty revenge.
She's not inherently evil, at least, not at her current nature, just basically Anti-Villain. Though she could have been just Chaotic Evil thanks to her history of slaughtering people and screwing people over and turning on them in the Brood War. Too bad they mixed up the writing with child's play.
I mean, idk if they ever really fleshed out space travel in sc2 lore, but they call it "warp drive" so I'm assuming there's some type of dimension hopping going on...and the zerg are psionic, so it would stand to reason that they're accessing warp jumps through, essentially, space magic. Besides, even if it was purely a technology thing, the zerg are able to manipulate their own biology with the deliberateness of technology. there's no reason why they couldn't organically replicate the pseudo-physics needed to create a warp jump. They clearly have the ability to create organic parts that can conduct electricity, since they can interface with computers and also manipulate human communications technology
@@bonzwah1 I'm not really disagreeing with you, after all some suspension of disbelieve is required. I find it hard to think of zerg as using psionic energies - beyond kerrigan non use it but they're affected by it. Dominion reinforcements are probably keeping the blockade busy and distract the leviathans long enough for Raynor to slip through. Raynor's battlecruiser is a lot smaller than Dominion battlecruisers (see that cinematic in WOL where hyperion docked beside Bucephalus, when Raynor met Valerian for the first time).
Imagine instead of The Siege of Korhal Its the Siege of Corusant The blockaded in space of SW would be 40 Star Destroyer + 1 Eclipse class SD and 4 Conquer class SD with swarm of Defender TIE Fighters, commanded by Grand Admiral's Thrawn. On ground Lead by Darth Vader along his side was Sith assassins, the inquisitors and the 501st Legion in battle frontier. There's General Veers and his legion of AT-ATs, Artillery and walker from other smaller types + (Million) of Stormtroopers and Dark Troopers on guard the citadel with ranges of Turbo-Laser canon towers. The Emperor was with his Royal Guards at the Imperial Palace watching the battle from behinds, conjuring force storms. Would Queen of Blades and her swarm will defeats the Imperial?
The fight in space would be the biggest obstacle. Tie fighters are more maneuverable and faster than Mutas, and scourges would be in short supply in space until a ground presence is established. Even then, the biggest obstacle is the SD's. even a regular SD is easily a match for a leviathan in both size and firepower. That said, the zerg have a massive numbers advantage, and with that many mutas around, the space battlefield quickly becomes a minefield of ricocheting projectiles, which could even shred Star Destroyers. While the space battle will decimate a good deal of the zerg's flying forces, Not even GA Thrawn can hold off an assault from the swarm on such a large scale. The ground forces, on the other hand, are another story. And oddly, the inquisitors are the MVP's here (spinning lightsabers shred zerglings, other reasonably small zerg, and projectiles like paper). With stormtroopers, Vader, and the artillery firing from behind, even Ultralisks would have trouble closing the distance. In this instance, Kerrigan may have to take the field herself to break through, and she outstrips Vader's abilities by miles. Eventually, the swarm breaks through to the Emperor, demolishes the palace with him inside, and Kerrigan deals with him herself because none of the others can actually handle him, and wins handily.
Mutas were described as having their wings dstroyed by nothing but glass. Tie Fighters are fast and agile, so they could hit these weak spots. And do not forget, that the Executor (in case they had time to prepare for the Zerg) would likely have decent amounts of Tie Defenders and if we count in Legends, Missile Boats and Tie Phantoms that would just shred the Zerg air force. They would likely have the Eclipse to defend the planet as well, which by any chance could 1 shot the Zerg mothership. Ground battle is somewhat similar to the Imperial Guard vs Tyrranids. If the Empire planned it correctly, they could likely give a fierce fight, but I am not sure if they could win. However, I am unsure of if Karrigan could beat the Emperor and Vader. If the Emperor doesn't get cocky, chances are that he will have the Eclipse or a Death Star to fire at Karrigans position while he has escaped.

She probably shield herself whit his psionic powers
That because A she had her powers which probably would have protected her and B maybe she just lucky
Wouldn't matter. If she was intercepted and couldn't psionically block it, she would just reconstitute herself and launch again
