Pyrilutimide has a binding affinity of 0.28nm. That's 2x stronger than DHT and 4 times stronger than testosterone. It also has a 4x stronger binding affinity than RU. Combined with finasteride and minoxidil, that's going to be one hell of a combo.
My hair has stabilised with finasteride even at only 0.5 mg. If the non-veoous hair counts indicate dht blocking, id gladly add this to my stack to reduce my finasteride further (0.25mg) and never worry again. Or at least never worry until gt20029 or something like it comes out in 20 years.
I think these new treatments are great for people who don't respond well to finasteride (Fin), as preventing damage to the hair follicles is very important longterm. That's why relying on Minoxidil only, isn't the best idea as the damage is still being done, so if you use it for 10 years and then stop you'll (very likely) quickly lose the hair you "saved". However, this and minoxidil together will give those who really can't use finasteride (such as women or people that experience sides) a much better long-term chance to slow down the loss. Also, those who are beginning to see their hair loss pick up again despite being on Fin (usually those with aggressive hair loss genetics) will likely get great use out of this. At the end of the day these additional treatments are giving us more options, therefore a better chance of preventing hair loss (with fewer side effects) if we wish to do so and that's a great thing. Great Channel by the way, keep it up!
