Yes, this is important to indicate when going straight to let the other drivers around you know you are taking the 2nd exit in addition helps with the flow of traffic as the cars on the opposite of the roundabout can also cross paths at the same time much more sufficiently.

depends on the state i think but you should always indicate left when exiting a roundabout

You indicate out of the roundabout. As long as you’re past the exit you’re not taking, you indicate out so people at the next exit know you’re leaving the roundabout.

Not far at all, you need to stop when you can’t see the back tyres of the car in front of you. The high camera angle makes it look weird
