      I notice your comment gets 'zero' likes.... Just to let you know I'm with you. I'm not fascinated by advancements in weaponry, I'm horrified. Those who find technology used for brutal ends interesting are very short sighted. Bad times can knock upon ANY door. This is not a game we're in the midst of. The race to be the most lethal is not a sane preoccupation.

    • @CARLGULA
      @CARLGULA Год назад +16

      @@9UaYXxB brilliant remark, I haven't read an intelligent comment like this in a long time. You're absolutely correct, this technology will not just be for "the good guys" but every superpower in the world will be working towards lethal AI driven machines. I'm an altruistic natured human that sees massive value in human life but I'm also not against the belief of self preservation and fighting for moral issues. I just hope as humans move further into the future we never forget the horrifying reality that was WW2. We need to learn from the past so we don't repeat it. I'm rooting for conflicts to no longer be the means of settling disputes as the amount of human casualties is simply not worth it, not to mention the economic catastrophe the war brings to many mentions involved. The price of war is too much in an ever growing global society and economy. Keep being awesome ✌️

I do not believe sand would gum up any works. Also even with factory applications the cameras on these things when trained with ai to take pictures of parts before picking them up can aquire their target within .05 seconds of sensor trigger. More than likely theyll have thermal and night vision along side normal light spectrum cameras. The best option for getting a jump on something like this would be traps and elevation.

    Quick question, what happens if I use ultra strong concealed magnets where it passes to try to trap it, or set up a paint bomb to block its cameras. If I hide and shoot its riffle to the point of damage, how risky would it be to try to catch it and keep its hardware, or does it kick ?

      You'd have to do this to multiple pass byes, probably multiple air drones too.
      And once you act you'll have given your position away.
      A very high powered ballistic penetrator that ignores armor would follow right after.

How exactly are we supposed to know that those machines won't rebel and do what they "think" they supposed to do?

      I recently heard they did an exercise with AI telling it that it would receive points for every enemy aircraft it downed. In order to score more points the AI started targeting friendly aircraft and designating them as hostile. When it was given instructions to stop that behavior it began disabling radar so the controller could not see which aircraft it was downing so it could get more points. AI can be insane
