People shouldn't argue over 2 stroke, 4 stroke, quad, bike, or brand. Were all one big motocross family! I've ridden I have a Honda 400ex race quad and a cr85r and bout to get a crf250r (I only want a 4stroke for the rev limiter lol) My like 85 went riding with the big 4x4 quads and I was going thru mud they couldn't go thru hahaha

Restoring a 2 stroke in most cases is worth it depending on how bad of condition the bike is in. Just make sure the amount you spend working on the bike doesn't go over what the bikes value is. When you go look at a bike for sale, don't get excited and fall in love with the bike and always ask if you can look at the cylinder. Look at the tires, do they need to be replace? check the linkage bearings, does the swingarm have a lot of play? are the brake routers worn out? are the fork seals leaking?

KTM, Husqvarna, Husaberg, Beta, GasGas, Yamaha, and TM all make new production 125 2 strokes. From what I understand, the Husquvarna Cr 125 and Wr 125 both come with a 144 kit right from the factory. I believe the Wr 125 is out of production and only the Cr 125 remains.
Two strokes built motorcross, I love them and wouldeny mind a KX-250 with a fatty or gnarly on it. But when I get a new bike its gonna have to be a 450. Although an inline 4 doesn't sound to shabby

i tried flipping out the back wheel on a jump in 1978 and came off , we never did that rear wheel thing back then
