Putting a new used sail on a Wills Wing T2C 154 hang glider that needs a lot of work on the frame components. See my HG maintenance services - www.bustedkeel... #hanggliding
Hello, my dear. Congrats for the video. Do you know what makes T2C become hard to open/setting up, along the years?. What do you think I could do to turn It smoothier? I already removed the sail and could see that the glider open just like a brand new one.
Normally there's too much friction on the keel for the crossbar slider. Clean the keel, then apply 2 coats of Sailkote on the keel. It's the only spray that I have found to work good for a long time.
I don't know It is lack PF lubrication. Because the difficult I have is only in the final stretching. It looks like the sail became smaller, you know? People say is a commom problem in not news T2. But thank you anyway.
@@fabioribeiro5978 If everything is assembled right, that sounds like sail tension. It can shrink under the right conditions. There are ways to tell if that's it, but it's hard to describe here.
Thanks for the vids, they are appreciated
👍
The year is 2085 and the frame is still good going for its 20th sail swap😂
Gonna need lots of anti corrosion spray!
