This video really hits home with me . I never ever liked belt drive buggy’s until I drove a losi xxx4 that my uncle wanted me to sell for him. The thing was so smooth and glided over the grass , it made me want to try a belt drive Tamiya so I purchased a db01 RR kit, about 8 db01 builds later I have a pair of rrr spec cars you can see some of the builds in my channel . Rrr black with upgrades is still the coolest looking Tamiya to me .
I just Sub’d… I’ll look for your db01 vids later on when watching football this evening. I’m interested in getting a DB01 rrr. Just have to find one and have money for it lol. Better start saving up 😅
Awesome video brother. The Db01 is such a fun and affordable platform. Tamiya should keep making the hopups as there is still a huge market for these cars.
Great to see it out on the track, and it looked great. The Durga is a buggy ive been tempted by, but. Vintage rules over here only go to 2004. But if i ever find one cheap enough i may just pull the trigger 😁
Yeah, man, gotta love the Durga! And I have to admit, it actually looks great with that blue and white two-tone scheme! And without the excessive stickers, he he... Super smooth driveline, almost like a belt driven Kyosho, lovely sound! Cool run on that track, looks like a fast fluid track, good fun with Phil, errr, Keith...
A very cool buggy indeed. It was ripping around the track and was whisper quiet too. The belt driven 4wd buggies are super smooth and quiet, very nice to drive. When I get back on Buyee this is one at the top of the list I will be hunting for! The track looked perfect for it, a little fluffed up and it was digging in great!
Smooth running car, surprised by the Dirt Tuned 24t. Note that the gear diffs are more carpet (or high grip) oriented. As for the statement, it would be an interesting thing to test against a Top Force EVO, with a timing system, who knows 😅🤝
Perhaps… I’m going to start editing my XXX-4 footage. I just love the way it drove. Actually it’s running on Keith’s track against his Durga DB01 RRR. … not sure if he had it on his channel yet. But I’m going to get it up on mind soon.
Love seeing you n Keith running together
Yay! Two best US Tamiya channels together making it work on track

Damn, those Tamiya buggies look awesome in their natural habitat, out on the track!!

Wow a Tamiya that doesn't land nose down on jumps! Am I in a Twilight Zone or something!
Nope… This Durga is legit in my opinion

I need a slipper clutch for mine. Then I'll build it. I got mine in the beginning of the summer too
