@@BeerPongChampion2691 Oh come on the first half of the riff is nearly identical. Only difference is the third note of the pattern is not an harmonic note. I don't really care either way lol it's just an observation.
@@olivierpeartnoy different notes in a different key. Kinda similar structure. I guess its the same lol either way I don't really care. It's just an observation
THIS. Idk why bands are being shy with breakdowns. They sound so incomplete. That's why I like the new Born of Osiris songs. Their breakdowns never feel incomplete.
I definitely like MMF’s new sound, not huge on the ‘rappish’ part, but man the breakdowns the instrumentation and mattys chorus/singing voice is top. Well done again
It seems a lot of people consider a song generic just by its overall structure, not the individual parts. So ya, verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-chorus isn't very imaginative from a high level, but the riffs, vocals, chorus all on their own felt pretty different from anything else I've heard this year.
i actually like the rappish parts - it'd suck to have a song after song of the same kind of verse which is what a lot of metalcore bands have kinda stuck themselves into. Might be an unpopular opinion.
I prefer a full album release but it’s great hearing new, heavier music from them! Definitely looking forward to their next single tho 😁 also We Came As Romans released a new song Dark Bloom !
Yes, Crystal Lake, both Curse and the other track on the single Mephisto (which no one is talking about, but I personally think that it's even better than Curse!)
I gotta say, as an "album fan", I can't stand this strategy. Spiritbox did it for a long time, and I was practically begging for an album at that point. I hope it doesn't become a trend.
Hi, Bogdan. Are you going to react to a new We Came As Romans song "Darkbloom", which comes out tomorrow? This is the first track the guys wrote in 2 years and it's definitely gonna be pure banger delivered to the table ;)
That song has probably been my most anticipated release of this year. They said it's gonna be on the heavier side, so I'm really hoping for more Drop F action like they did on Carry The Weight.
The production is the reason why this is a pretty decent song. Whoever is mixing this is nailing it and sounds so refreshing. It’s catchy too which works. But the ‘rappish’ parts were meh to me. Still excited for this album regardless. I know there will be more bangers like Blood and Water
Dont know if i like this song yet. Also the beginning of this song reminds me of fever333 vocally and architects during the breakdown. Blood and water still is 🔥
Its like memphis may fire it's taking wage war place after deadweight... pressure is a good album, i like almost all tracks (all tracks besides grave), but they kinda lost their crown at metalcore after this.
Agreed with the second part of the chorus. That hook is incredible. The only complaint I have about MMF is that they give glimpses of such next level musicality with their riffs, breakdowns, and hooks, but 60% of the song is kind of boring or just weird (like the first part of the chorus or rapping part). I still love them and they are fantastic live, but they have so much more potential than they put out.
The reason it sounds like wage war because Cody from wage war has been working on their music he worked on Blood and Water and this song
yea and im pretty sure the members of both bands are good friends
@@Ryl0o yeah they are
That pre-chorus is Stitch by Wage War pretty much lol.
Cody from wage war is co writing their songs now so it makes sense.
@@HourEleven Didn't know that. Makes perfect sense then
It's just a riff on a triplet grid. Aside from that it's completely different

I wish they made their breakdowns longer though.
Yeah even just a couple extra measures with half time/quarter time parts would make the song feel more complete
THIS. Idk why bands are being shy with breakdowns. They sound so incomplete. That's why I like the new Born of Osiris songs. Their breakdowns never feel incomplete.
I wish the breakdown was longer, but I definitely loved this song and I really love the new heavier style of of MMF!!

It's interesting you brought up that it sounds like Wage War because Cody (cleans/guitar for WW) helped write both of these songs so far with MMF.
i actually like the rappish parts - it'd suck to have a song after song of the same kind of verse which is what a lot of metalcore bands have kinda stuck themselves into. Might be an unpopular opinion.
This and 'Blood and Water' is what I wanted 2021 ADTR to be.
New Crystal Lake is fcking amazing !!
It’s definitely good
Love it!!
I prefer a full album release but it’s great hearing new, heavier music from them! Definitely looking forward to their next single tho 😁 also We Came As Romans released a new song Dark Bloom !
Did you hear about Jason leaving Bury Tomorrow? That was some pretty disappointing news.
wont ever be the same without him
I honestly like this song a bit more than Blood and water. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love blood and water, but I like this one a bit more
Cody Quistad from Wage War helped write this, Blood & Water too
Check out Berried Alive- Strawberry Serenity
really catchy thing😌
thanks for your reaction👏💥
Bro hella vibing with Memphis 😁
Guitarist flexed 💪 all over this song, I think that’s the main part of the song
Check out the new trivium song in the court of the dragon
The Dialetic - Where Gods Tread Not
Need to see your reaction to that new crystal lake
Okay, just one more song bogdan. Do Crystal Lake newest song, Curse.
That song rips 🤘
There is also Mephisto, and its even better!

Pretty decent, but I definitely still prefer Blood & Water. Please react to new Crystal Lake! … and obviously Trivium too.

He's been hard ignoring Trivium for some unknown reason. Idk why.
@@Mavvyd96 Too much good stuff out recently haha! Let's be patient
@@fidgiored_slowednreverb Trivium has been the best out of all, imo. Trivium followed closely behind new Phinehas and then Ice Nine Kills.

it’s already become a trend unfortunately lol
Not all bands will be doing that tho
@@lessur Not that much. Most bands I listen to don't really do that.
Great
i got rage against vibes hearing this song
MMF is back!!
We need crystal lake BOGdun,
I know everyone's saying it here haha but please check out Curse and Mephisto, one after another, from Crystal Lake! You won't regret it
In terms of instrumentalism it's way better than blood and water imo.
I wish the breakdown was longer. Basic song structures disappoint but good song.

It's their guitarist Kellen McGregor.
There’s no album coming. That’s what he explained in the beginning of the video!
Dont know if i like this song yet. Also the beginning of this song reminds me of fever333 vocally and architects during the breakdown. Blood and water still is 🔥
As long as bands can release a track every 2-3 months. I’m down with that release schedule. Lots of rap artists I listen to do that and i love it
Generic now is the perfect adjective
Blood & water*
React to Trivium - In The Court Of The Dragon
0:14 uhm..... wasn't that last one called "Blood & Water"?
you: that's what i said.
me: no, you said "Blood in the Water". 🤔
Plzzz react to the new crystal lake song
This song gives me slight RATM vibes
This made blood and water sound like an amazing song and that was avergae at best, whats up with these poppy nsync choruses nowadays?
😍😍😍😍😍
That chorus is so fun. MMF is 2/2 thus far........
Most unique metal song of the year, this makes new trivium sound like Taylor swift
this is a joke right
It was ok, very similar to the last single but kinda like the nu metal sound
the breakdowns are very short also in the 1st single🤮 but the song is solid. First single is better
Its like memphis may fire it's taking wage war place after deadweight... pressure is a good album, i like almost all tracks (all tracks besides grave), but they kinda lost their crown at metalcore after this.
MMF make your BREAKDOWNS LONGER FOR THR LOVE OF GOD. #BlueballlsNation
