    You might want to check your transcript at the 6 second mark. Google closed captioning changed slate roof warehouse to slavery warehouse on you.😮

      The lightning rod itself is $150 plus shipping (www.slateroofwarehouse.com/deluxe_copper_lightning_rod.html). You can often just replace the existing rods with the new ones, using the same cable. Otherwise, you have to buy cable, etc.

      Wire? Do you mean the lightning rod cable? It's woven copper.

      @@teodelfuego We used Robbins #1 Copper Lightning Rod Cable: Copper Main Conductor, 32 strands of 17 gauge bare copper wire in basket weave configuration, 7/16” diameter, 65,500 circular mil cross section. Weight of copper - 201 pounds per 1,000’minimum. www.robbinslightning.com/product/1-copper-conductor-main-size-class-1/
