When the guy said that the lightning hitting the Burj Khalifa has enough power to power the building for a year it made me wonder why don't humans try to harness that power we can get tons of free electricity and not have to worry as much when it comes to greenhouse gases and the environmental impacts of generating electricity in power plants and so on
I have thought about this too, I am guessing they would need some type of storage device and it would probably have to be huge and able to withstand that surge of power coming in. Theoretically it’s probably possible, might be out of our reach for now. I Have never looked into it tho.
