This was short, crisp, informative and to the point. I love it.
Just like Richard Hammond
Crisp, and sharp

Short just like Hammond
Clarkson will be like: World's shortest man next to the world's tallest building.
Hammond would say "I wouldn't go climbing the biggest building you big APE! Might fall trying!"
thats hamster for ya
On tonight's show worlds smallest man next to the world's tallest building, the world's slowest man in the world's fastest car and the world's biggest spanner can't find a hammer
Think he would just say "man stands next to normally sized building"
@@elliotlowe4994 that actually sounds about right. These guys are just great together
This guy should do a tv show about super cars
Especially be around Rimac!!
Hey, that’s actually very funny, because he have, actually he made two. Top gear and the grand tour.
Either this is double sarcasm or its a /whooosh moment
@@lucashansen9898 Don’t really care if you’re being sarcastic but...

@@pr0jv it was, I made a bad joke out of a even worse joke
Never before has someone so small stood next to something so tall
what about when he stands next to clarkson
😶
I can hear clarkson saying that
I know this is a joke, but if anyone's curious, search up the world's shortest man next to the world's tallest man. It's genuinely such a weird picture.
@@mokonono5903 his arm is as long as the other guys hand wtf
Hammond is so good at these shows. The writing and delivery are always perfect.
IKR
Sometimes his genius... oh wait, wrong guy
These physics are something we need to admire.
LeMao ZeBron your comment is stupid and makes me laugh thank you
The physics, yes. The reasoning behind building stuff like this, not so much
@@yodaguy6956 i would have agreed with you if you didn't have double standards, how come when other countries do it, it's considered amazing or beautiful, but when Arabs do it there's always so much hate?
@@vortex-_-9259 exactly bro. i always get so confused when they say things like this about Arab countries and not only Arab countries but non arab Muslim countries too like Pakistan, Turkiye, Indonesia etc
my physics teacher could'nt have explained like this in the whole semester
bcs ur teacher doesn't have any buggy
Maybe he could, but you never understood him(:

This is a part James May would normally do
Wut mate? Hamster has been hosting popular science productions for literally decades.
And then say
Hmmm...
I think its rather interesting how the concrete mixture in the Burj is .....
@Black Dad i agree, I would like to change my answer 🤚
@Black Dad although May is very technical, hence my comment
@LeMao ZeBron No you're buying into the marketing that these guys purport. I think James especially is wrongly percieved. He just knows a lot of argubaly useless stuff. He isn't this super smart guy, and actually hes rather close minded and cliche.
Probably on of the most difficult concepts explained in the most simple understandable and entertaining way!
wow you have no idea how complicated some concepts are
Definitely not one of the most difficult
So no one is going to talk about how the structure engineer is just chilling while Hammond is worried
@@andyelliott8027 bro wtf ??
Hammond can do anything and I would watch it
This is the type of things I like to see on RUclips. Not throwaway TikTok dances and cringey staged 'pranks'
@JP I do you muppet, RUclips shorts and recommendations are full of the shite I was talking about. Stop trying to be a smart arse.
@@RDR2309 always hated the know it alls in the replies

I wish Richard was my Physics teacher. This was incredibly informative and done in just 10 mins.
The trio doesn’t need to be making car programmes to stay relevant as ever.

They’re definitely more relevant than commenting on RUclips mate.
Legend say the books are still stuck together somewhere in the desert.
"But mom, I don't want to go to the swings, there's this weird bearded kid creepin me out"
That friction example was awsome!
Im so excited to spend the rest of my life watching hammond talk about literally every subject

Absolutely fascinating. Who doesn't love a little bit of science from a little person?
Excellent presentation, technical terms with easy to understand explanations for the non-engineer crowd.
i don't know how hammond makes everything interesting but somehow he manages it!
He can make horseshit interesting.
Literally.

Enjoyed this documentary a lot, very clear
I never knew that friction on books can be inseparable even with more than 100 horsepower each buggie is just amazing
Beautifully explained !
Wow, amazingly well illustrated.
Brilliant! Thank you so much for educating me tonight. Great video. That engineer was so smart who designed it.
Very cool! Learned something new today. Thanks Richard. 👍
Wow, Physics is Incredible & beautiful! I don't think It could be explained any better!
This was actually so cool and informative
Understood , how to anchor vehicles with books.
Going to buy some books now
Outstanding video. Well done.
Very Informative.. liked it!
I went there for work and was very impressed. Cool place to visit.
This was awesome to watch.
watched the first video from this channel. Instantly subscribed!!
Very simple explanation thx for sharing
Really interesting video! Thanks!
very informative,n to the point
Absolutely fascinating!! Loved this vid and love Dubai!
Absolutely fascinating and explained to me like a 5 year old, which I basically am.
Will have to check out the full show!
I wish I had a science teacher like Mr Hammond
this is the tallest building pause...... in the world
I can imagine Clarkson saying that! 😂
Hammond you hudeiout
You, Sir! have just gained another subscriber.
I am enjoying your videos.
Great video!
This is incredibly incredible
When I was growing up on the Gold Coast, Australia, the Q1 was being built, we were told that it was an experimental building for a bigger builder which was going to happen in our “sister city” Dubai. We had lots and lots of UAE expats here prior to the build and during, once completed, they packed up and went home. Many of them took their Holden VT and VE SS commodores. I caught up with a few of them every time I was in Dubai. But yeah, not sure how true the story about the Q1 is but that’s what we were told.
Very interesting! I never would have thought the friction of those two phone books, Inter-leafed together would create that much friction. The Burj Khalifa is a marvel of modern engineering. For most of us we see an extremely tall building and are impressed but there is so much more to it then that.
loved this
I really really like this video, learned something really cool.
Short but easy to understand explaination!
I remember the construction of this structure as a kid, didn't knew it had so much pressure on it!
Hammond on a swing is super wholesome and I love it
Loved this
Awesome video .
Excellent sir
Fantastic video 👍🏻
One Word. Incredible
This is amazing 😍👍🏼👍🏼
Very informative
Wow what an amazing experiment, had no idea friction was such a powerful force!
Great. Iam impressed
Hammond, you blithering genius!
The confusion of wind has sooooo much to do with it's sustainability too these guys are great
Great video, interesting
Amazing.2 books holding each other with so much power
Today I learned how short Hammond really is, he still fits on a child’s swing.
That book experiment: UNBELIEVABLE! 🤨
Hammond needs to bring back Braniac, im need a refresher on which fruit floats or sinks, that lady with the lovely basket fruit was a great teacher
Incredible
Amazing
Okay... THAT was fascinating.
HAMMOND!!! Can't believe I didn't know this existed!
Has this been posted before! I feel like I've watched it already.
This is unreasonably interesting
Great video. Richard could you do a video on the leaning tower of Pisa?
amazing
All i can say is wow!
Perfect
The base of the Burj Khalifa is similar to the base of the CN tower in Toronto that was built in the 70s🇨🇦
brilliant
I just did the friction test with my kid with two of his notebooks. Great stuff.
Clarkson will be like: World's shortest man next to a toothpick
Very interesting
Should've seen those fountains during the 40th anniversary celebrations back in 2011 it was fascinating.
This was actually super informative. Hammonds starting to get a belly though.
Dubai really got bored and entered Creative mode.
@LeMao ZeBron
Designed and engineered by the Americans and manufactured by the Koreans.
The Discovery Channel in Canada had (years ago) a show called Frontiers of Construction, and they ran a two part program of the building of the Burge Dubai which was the closest I was ever going to get to it.
Love it
