2005-2014. Tired of LLate Show. He was 50+ in a new marriage with child. Had a son from first marriage turning ten he wanted to spend more time with them plus get on the road for occasional gigs( I saw him in ClwrFl). Did a game show for two yrs. He only had to do five of those shows in one day then had the week off. CBS gave him a 10M$ buy-out from the LS that Colbert got. Currently has a 1hr. 30min. I had a heart attack 11 years ago after my son past away. This shows humor kept me alive and still does today. Todays late night shows make me throw up.
Check out his one man stand up SPECIALs. So funny, clever and great mimicry and other voices. His accents of others are RIGHT ON!!! name of a good one is - - I'M JUST BEING HONEST.
My gut says it couldn't been as good if he had not come from a not so great part of Glasgow. His irreverence is wonderful! Watching such a tall dude dancing well with abandon is fun, too. I may be wrong, but I think he might've been a drummer in a band. Possibly a punk band, but not sure at all.
I think Jimmy's a good guy and he's talented, witness him singing "Life on Mars" by Bowie with Chris Martin. Damned good. But too bad he turns me off by over reacting with laughter at mild stuff.

Craig’s crowds sound different than other shows. There’s a disorganized , churning laughter, that keeps rolling through the audience. Not like the staged bursts of cheering that so many shows use to substitute human emotions.
That’s because it’s a bunch of edited clips. Just realized I really didn’t need to tell you this but didn’t want to hold the back space button for so long.🤷♂️
the whole 12:51+ segment really highlights it... there is some bigger lady just absolutely losing it in the audience, above everyone else... and it keeps pushing Craig over the edge when he starts to calm down... its just so damn funny, i love watching these every so often, helps me remember what life is about rather than sad and work all the time and i totally agree, all the others are just canned... Craig was like Red Skelton... he just didnt care, and he loved making everyone laugh... specially like the joke about Margrette Thatcher saying "if you something said, ask a man, if you want something done, ask a woman and if you want nothing said OR done... - joke dissolves for like 5 mins due to Craig losing it - xD xD xD xD

When I first was checking out this show, I kept wondering why he spent over a half-hour on his monologue, when I wanted to see his guests. But when I realized maybe four years into the show just how stinkin' FUNNY this guy was, and how he and his show made me laugh out loud, I can't get enough. Don't tell my wife, but it's my guilty pleasure.
There is NOTHING as infectious as LAUGHTER! I think one of the reasons Craig's show was SO great to watch was that HE CRACKED HIMSELF UP (and shared it unashamedly) every night as often as he cracked up the audience! SUCH a 'party' atmosphere without even trying! which is why I forgive him for doing the "nipple-touch" with the fart noises JUST AFTER I'd taken a sip of beer... lol

Craig and Drew Carey have genuine great laughs and appreciate humor from others on their show. I wish they were both back on the air!
When I first was checking out this show, I kept wondering why he spent over a half-hour on his monologue, when I wanted to see his guests. But when I realized maybe four years into the show just how stinkin' FUNNY this guy was, and how he and his show made me laugh out loud, I can't get enough. Don't tell my wife, but it's my guilty pleasure.

There is NOTHING as infectious as LAUGHTER! I think one of the reasons Craig's show was SO great to watch was that HE CRACKED HIMSELF UP (and shared it unashamedly) every night as often as he cracked up the audience! SUCH a 'party' atmosphere without even trying! which is why I forgive him for doing the "nipple-touch" with the fart noises JUST AFTER I'd taken a sip of beer... lol
