This week we visited one of the newest National Parks in the USA, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, before continuing on to explore an incredible Colorado mountain town, Crested Butte. We check out Secret Stash for pizza and an incredible story of neighbors helping neighbors by giving back during the pandemic. Plus we try the famous Niky's Mini Donuts for addictive fancy flavors. This episode is delicious!

Question Katelyn... do you have solar for your Sprinter? I would think you do, considering you do a lot of boon-docking. We also have a Sprinter (a 2016 Navion, “M” model, which is very similar to your “D” model). And have 300 watts of solar, but will be adding another 300 watts, when we can find someone to do it for a reasonable price! Forgive me if you already talked about solar, but I’ve only been subscribed a few months! Happy travels! 🌲🏞🏕

Hi Janine, thanks so much for watching, and good eye! I (Howard) was born and raised in Cincinnati. My office used to be located at Kings Island (I worked for the parent company Cedar Fair), and Katelyn worked for the sister park, Kings Dominion, in Richmond, VA!
Why don't you take all your dogs on the hikes?
Linda, thanks for watching and a great question! We generally rotate which dogs we take out, and our two puggles really don't enjoy super long hikes. Sometimes (like here in Alaska right now) we do take all three if it is a short enough hike. Scout on the other hand rarely gets tired and seems to love the longer hikes! 👍 -Howard
