I’ve just come across this recipe, I’ve made it and it is excellent, it rose up nicely,very good texture, definitely make it again…..I only had so many blueberries in so was quite a lot less than the recipe amount but still turned out fine, enough fruit in the cake for me to be honest…. I’ve been baking for a hundred years !! So I do tend to coat fruits with some flour to help against sinking… Thank you for the recipe…

OMG, I am so doing this for the weekend :) Blueberries are in season now so there is no better time to bake this cake. I also do have one small tip: if you cut the lemon lengthwise, you will not need to use the lemon juicer ;)

added vanilla and pinch of salt, TB of flax egg from ground golden flax and used vegan cashew butter instead of oil, much more flavor when eating a pound cake type loaf the butter flavor is nice
I've made this cake twice and needless to say it's DELICIOUS!!! But...you need to cover it with foil for the last 25 minutes because the top gets hard. Also, the toothpick test does not work because the Blueberries keep the cake moist. Just bake it for 50 minutes and let it cool.

Can I use palm sugar instead of white sugar? Can I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil? Instead of baking in a oven, can it be baked in a air fryer using the bake mode? I would like to try this cake coz the store bought cakes seems to be too sweet and has too many ingredients. Your cake only has few ingredients and looks super delicious. Tip: before adding the blueberries to the batter, dust them with flour - - then they may not all sink to the bottom of the pound cake during baking.

he does measure, he always has a scale on the side, he just weighs "in reverse" so he weighs how much stuff he's got left compared to before adding it

Frozen blueberries will have a lot of water, so I would reduce the amount of milk /water, as the berries will hydrate the dough quite a bit
