    Tip: before adding the blueberries to the batter, dust them with flour - - then they may not all sink to the bottom of the pound cake during baking.

      @@YadhGood NO Morfina, I didn't say that BECAUSE I didn't READ what Nico LITERALLY said. I DIDN'T say anyone HAD to use the tip. I've made a lot of fruited pound cakes in my time, and I prefer my fruit to be suspended. So I simply gave a tip, and the chef gave me a ❤ ...

      👍🏾your right Great tip...but even if you forget and don't flour the blueberries it's ok as long as the flavor is delicious..bottom middle top all works for me ..that cake looks delicious and I never even thought about those blueberries at the bottom....I was jus ready to eat that cake but forgot or was a video..😋

    You know he's pro when he doesn't even measure half the ingredients haha. Looks so delicious! Hadn't thought to add glaze to individual slices, definitely doing this!

      he does measure, he always has a scale on the side, he just weighs "in reverse" so he weighs how much stuff he's got left compared to before adding it

    Thanks! Delicious. I used frozen blueberries and a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan (used 3/4 recipe ingredients, just over 1/2 cup sugar and 3/8 icing.) Will make an 11 inch one next time!

    I’ve just come across this recipe, I’ve made it and it is excellent, it rose up nicely,very good texture, definitely make it again…..I only had so many blueberries in so was quite a lot less than the recipe amount but still turned out fine, enough fruit in the cake for me to be honest….
    I’ve been baking for a hundred years !! So I do tend to coat fruits with some flour to help against sinking…

    OMG, I am so doing this for the weekend :) Blueberries are in season now so there is no better time to bake this cake. I also do have one small tip: if you cut the lemon lengthwise, you will not need to use the lemon juicer ;)

    Amazing recipe! I tried it with gluten free flour, white flour, and whole wheat. GF was fluffy but the taste was off and the whole wheat was dense. The regular white flour was perfect!

    added vanilla and pinch of salt, TB of flax egg from ground golden flax
    and used vegan cashew butter instead of oil, much more flavor
    when eating a pound cake type loaf the butter flavor is nice

    I've made this cake twice and needless to say it's DELICIOUS!!!
    But...you need to cover it with foil for the last 25 minutes because the top gets hard.
    Also, the toothpick test does not work because the Blueberries keep the cake moist.
    Just bake it for 50 minutes and let it cool.

      Frozen blueberries will have a lot of water, so I would reduce the amount of milk /water, as the berries will hydrate the dough quite a bit

    Can I use palm sugar instead of white sugar? Can I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil? Instead of baking in a oven, can it be baked in a air fryer using the bake mode? I would like to try this cake coz the store bought cakes seems to be too sweet and has too many ingredients. Your cake only has few ingredients and looks super delicious.
