Even if its typical I love the analytical way you take things a bit critical. its like I'm back in school the way you make reactions look cool. its obvious you've been given the tools, don't mess with the fools, what I'm basically saying is Knox you rule.
Hopsin not only didn't curse outta respect for NF, he had the burden balloons!!! 😭 Hopsin just helped proved, along with NF, you can make a fire song without all that profanity... nice!
I love the symbolism of the mountain. As you mentioned NF started at the bottom, but we seem him climbing with relative ease. The burdens are there but he's still climbing. Who's above him? It's Hopsin. He sees Hopsin as a leader. An idol. Hopsin created a path as he climbs the mountain that is infamy. Though they're on the same path, NF and Hopsin are / were at different points in the journey. Hopsin falls just short in his journey. Rather selfishly going it alone to the top, NF not only stops for Hopsin, but goes back for others - recruiting Hopsin to do the same. They've realized the goal isn't reaching the top, it's helping others dig out of their trench so they can begin their journey.
Yeah, and at the time we thought it was a new album, so now I’m assuming the original plan was for the album that eventually became “Clouds” and his next project, was gonna be called “Lost”
In The Search song he has a line that says his thoughts are telling him he's lost. So it could be that this song is those thoughts creeping in on his journey.
Well technically he’s not with any kids plus that refers to how the world is bad and full of crazy things. This song is based on how he’s lost that simple.
There was an extended "Dark Knight" metaphor in NFs verse. He shouted out the Scarecrow and said that we need heroes to chase away our fears, he then made reference to lurking in the shadows the way that Batman would do, and then NF made a direct reference to Bane. I'm sad he didn't mention me though, he did it on outcast though, and he's had a painted smile for a while. His smile was just skin deep though... 🃏♠️♦️♣️♥️
Knox not only fully understood the song and broke it down. He truly appreciates the artistic point and message. Definitely my favorite reactor but terribly underrated. And your own rap is good as well. I don’t like all of it but most of it is definitely very well produced and lyrically inclined as well.
9 months late but can I ask what he didn't understand? I love Knox and his break downs because 99% of the time I learn a lot. Just wanna keep that going homie 👌
Something I think is interesting is the Book of James is mainly about perseverance in the face of struggles and tribulation, James wrote it to encourage the early Christians as they were being persecuted, and so I think that was very fitting to mention as he was rapping about perseverance in the face of his own struggles.
I was really surprised by that reference from Hopsin. For me the Book of James also is huge on the interconnection of honesty (like in confession) and healing.
This stood out to me as well. I found it even more compelling how Hopsin spoke about having his testament added and the book of James speaks on the power of the tongue. Life and death dwells in it. Which then brings to memory the verse that says we overcome by the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
Also it fits into Nf’s hook. Because the lyric he says “cause when you fail it’s just a test” which is a reference to “count it all joy when you face trials of any kind, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness”
NF is definitely making an impact in rap, like he said he wanted to in All I have... More rappers need to follow suit and make "Real" music. NF is a beast
I just realized something- He talks about how he gets higher spirits when joy is there, yet in one of his older songs he said that Joy called him a cheater and she isn’t coming back. Is this a reason that he feels these burdens so much, because he feels a hole that he is missing (being joy) and it has always stuck with him almost holding over his shoulder? This could be a stretch but let me know what you guys think
I have a theory for what the final scene of the music video means.... so you know when hopsin says "these burdens are heavy, I hope they don't bury me" well the final scene is literally a graveyard of people who have been buried by their burdens. so the last scene is a graveyard of people who have committed suicide due to their mental health 😔😪
@@ericmiller9331 i thought that at first aswell, like how hopsin was lost in the video and NF found him. Except.... these people are completely buried, whereas NF found Hopsin before he got completely buried by his burdens, hopsin was only half buried. but in the last scene they are completely under the snow, which lead me to my theory. I agree btw, amazing vid and track
I thought the same thing. When Hopsin was found you could still see most of his upper body like he hasnt been completely buried yet, but the last shot showed no body to be found except the balloons. Also it looks like the balloons are closer to the ground showing that their really buried down there so these people probably lost their battle with their burdens. Good catch on that man.
Crazy that when Hopsin talks about praying and bible there’s an organ riff in the background as if the beat is taking you to church. The beat did a double. So sick.
I love the 'I manifested this, feelings how you grow and learn your lessons kid' from NF, rhymes so well with Hops 'I manifested this, do not treat me like some adolescent kid'. Just the 'learn your lessons kid' and 'adolescent kid'. It's just them layers again. Just beautiful.
Man if you watch one of nf's recent interviews he explains that he's doing the movie production quality sounds and instrumentals on purpose because it's something he's hella passionate about! 🖤
NF is a force in the industry- Hopsin not cussing is showing, like NF, you can keep it clean and be 🔥. Honestly, who’s making music like this now other than NF and Tommee Profitt?
NF has said in an interview that his favorite movie is Inception, which was directed by Christopher Nolan. You can definitely hear the inspiration in the production.
Lost is such a deep term and I really relate to this song just because of that word. I made a photo album on insta called lost to try a let ppl see my depression and that's a big thanks to NF. Because I am the lost soul and others like me will relate not only to this song but yours like 'i get lonely' so thanks for letting the lost souls know we aren't alone
The back in my saddle bar was also a dope bar because they’re in the video they’re on a topographic saddle, referring to a low point or valley between two mountain tops.
Maybe it’s me, but going back to what NF said in Clouds, how he’s getting out of his comfort zone in making a mixtape, maybe it was foretelling this scene, which could be considered as all of the features/collabs he’s gonna have on the mixtape. I could very well be wrong, but I think it would be awesome to see.
Hello Knox. Im from Russia and Im trying to learn english, especially American english. Thank you for explaining the real meaning of the bars. Wish I will travel soon to the USA and Canada. God bless all of you guys.
It has been a while since a collab has had me wanting so much more. We need more of Hop and NF. Knox your break down pulls so much more attention to the lyrics and message, you compliment the artist by helping spread their message.
Did anyone else realize when he says Im back on the saddle refers to later put the ring on them like a horse has and pull them back and breaking their jaws Dang it is deep!
So much respect for you bro. Your ability to pick out lyrics and appreciation for the beats and mixing in between... out of this world. Keep it up my dude

You are truly a student of the game as they say, one of the best ways to breakdown videos ever. Lastly, even the way NF's voice faintly echoed in the beginning is deep.
Bruh, your breakdowns are on another level... when i just listen to a song, im too dumb to catch anything really, i usually just listen to the beat. but when you break down a song, and explain everything, Bruh, my brain cant compute. but its still entertaining to watch. also thanks for introducing me to Tom MacDonald.

I was incredibly excited when I saw they did a collaboration! I really like the way the instrumentals hit with parts of the story. I enjoyed the haunting parts too!
Check out how Hopsin’s bars all pay homage to NF’s history... Spending $ on hypno-therapy (Therapy Session), stay in the cage I’m in (Outcast), family I don’t have anymore (Why did you Leave Us?), demon’s knocking (Mansion), this dark cloud (Clouds) is my residence (Mansion).
I love these types of reactions. You do an amazing job at bringing meaning behind these lyrics and not just head hopping through the whole song. Amazing. Amazing amazing

I am legit impressed w/ this breakdown @theknoxhill. I'm not new to NF or Hopsin, but didn't know about this track until tonight. This was the first time I listened to a song & your breakdown/reaction basically at the same time. What I appreciate in general about your breakdowns is your ability explain "simply" the complex layers to a track. But I'm usually seeing a reaction to a song I've heard before & often several times. I knew the track was going to have some fire verses with a NF & Hopsin collab (their first together AFAIK). Lesson #1: they delivered Lesson #2: you caught more on your first time thru this track than I did after 3-4 replays. I already knew you had a good ear, but this was next level. Totally different musical genres, but it reminded me of how impressive it is when Rick Beato does a "what makes this song great" breakdown.
Can’t tell you how much I appreciate comments like this. Respect man. Thanks for taking the time to share and to support - it really does mean a lot. Appreciate you being in this musical journey with me 🙌
But wow. This is my first time reacting to you and I love it! As a guy who is very flow and meaning heavy, visibly being able to see when you notices the switches and details in the mixing like I do is very refreshing to see.
I’ve been listening to you for a couple of years now and I’ve learned to appreciate the music more how you break it down and I just wanna tell you thanks.

Btw, just wanted to say, I've been vibing to chaos theory for a week straight now✨ you killed it💛
I literally only watch your reactions, no one else’s. You mirror my depth when I review content; whether it’s the lyrics, productions, schemes or the videos. Thank you!
This song is so fire!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lesson #1: they delivered
Lesson #2: you caught more on your first time thru this track than I did after 3-4 replays.
Appreciate you being in this musical journey with me 🙌
Who the hell are you my guy?? Extremely intelligent. You are quick with it. I have said it before that you are on the path to greater things.
That BANE bar was my favorite from Nates verse.
So sick!
Hopsin SNAPPED too...
wow.
Another great reaction,
Salute!
Yep i was waiting for this. Also love the intro song
But wow. This is my first time reacting to you and I love it! As a guy who is very flow and meaning heavy, visibly being able to see when you notices the switches and details in the mixing like I do is very refreshing to see.
Knox back at it again with amazing ability to break shit down
That was really well done. The production and the reaction. Thanks! 👍
Hopsin is a damn legend. Glad to see him back in the game
I’ve been listening to you for a couple of years now and I’ve learned to appreciate the music more how you break it down and I just wanna tell you thanks.
Same here. Music is so much more enjoyable and meaningful
Been a fan of your breakdowns and music for awhile!! Shit helps anyone understand tracks more!! 🔥🔥 Dope job bruh!
I appreciate your breakdown of this video in detail. Good work!
Who else thinks that the end is setting up a bunch of future songs with different artists 😳🤔
That would be cool then!
I think it shows the people fallen cause of their burdens
@@Meddex1337 yea that's what I mean, what if NF and Hop are gonna talk and find some more rappers that have tons of burdens to feature and turn it into a series of songs
Imagine with Eminem
YESSS FINALLY 🥶🥶🥶🙏🙏🙏 was waiting for your reaction😤😤
NF: [takes a deep breath]
KnoxHill: Man, that was DEEP!
😂😂
😂😂
😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Because it is!
Wow... lost....the end left me speechless and in despair. So many in need of a hand up..
Stunning....thanks for sharing.
