It's kind of crazy how much goes unnoticed until someone breaks it all down. I love it because it gives you even more respect for the artist(s). It goes from just being a song, which is great, to being a masterpiece.
Okay what... quick question which songs did you not like from previous projects. Not here to judge you I just loved every song on the search and perception.
Damn bro I've been waiting for you to react to this one cause it really broke me too😂😂 Tech is in my top 10 DOA. His flow is just too smooth along with the complex rhyme schemes he creates, crazy wordplay,...... Tech is just out of this world. NF holds his own on this track. Fire breakdown as usual.🔥🔥
"I started recording in my number three Jordans" Is the slickest way I've heard a rapper express how far they go back in Hip-Hop in a long time. Rappers used to always put a "my raps Go back like" type line in their rhymes The slicker the rhyme more respect you might merit. You know T9 had them #3 J's back in the day when they came out cause he has been doing this for a while. Me too, "Tech9 an I go back like crooked hats and suicide doors on Cadillacs" Nah I don't really know him but I've followed his career since 1999.
”if you never been afraid then why you running?” I’m coming back to this after NF’s new album - I wonder if that section is a reference to the last track Running…. I wouldn’t be surprised!
Both artists brought what makes them beautiful within their lanes. Sooooo Good. They compliment each other so well and make an amazing message. Yesssss Fire! 🔥
Man the complexity of TECH N9NE's flow is top notch! Right up there with Em. Both getting up there in age, but just keep evolving over time and never letting up! NF is getting better too I see! I listened to his first like 3 I think albums a while back, but I need to catch up to what he's been up to in the last couple years.
I'm waiting for my signed copy of the mixtape to come in the mail, until then I chose to watch/listen through reactors so I'm pumped for this breakdown! Knox is the go-to for this!
I really respect this guy and his reactions cuz u can actually see that knox is talented and actually inspired by songs, he introduces me to musical words i never even knew existed and its always such a blast to watch. He always knows exactly what hes talking about and slices songs up into different pieces its so amazing
Love how you broke down the thought process of the lines! I've been an NF fan before Mansion. You psychoanalysis of his bars were ridiculous! Thank you!
Your break downs are crazy. You help me enjoy the music even more. I like how you point out all the intricacies of the music and production. And how fast and accurate you pick up on the lyrics and meanings. Keep up the great work! 👍
This is like the 9th time I've come back to listen to this song. Been listening to tech since high school and no NF has caught my attention. Definitely wouldn't be a surprise if there's a track or 2 dropped from this collab really diving into ego, trauma, perseverance and triumph. All still while remaining humble.
I found you through NF songs, loved your internal knowledge about song production that I never even paid attention to, all those strings in the background that you bring out. Thanks man, I'm literally looking you up every time I find a song that I like, to get that internal knowledge. Sorry for my english, it's not my first language, keep up the good work man.
Your channel and breakdowns have single handily got me back into rap music. I thought the genre was lost (much like rock music) but the songs you dissect reminded me that there's so much talent and creativity that never makes mainstream. I just watch your videos and instantly add the tracks to my playlist. Btw lovin' your track "Hip Hop is Dead." What a stroll down memory lane. Awesome channel!
What I like about this song, is that NF is publicly Christian and you can see that influence on his music. Even in this song. Meanwhile tech N9ne has had his own issues with religion and faith and has even made songs about it. So to see these two come together is actually impressive to me and I hope beneficial to tech N9ne given his own history with faith. I'm hoping NF can help him on that journey whatever it may be
NF's music is simply art and I still cannot understand how some people don't like his music. Unfortunately 3 of my close friends won't get into his music... I'm trying my hardest to get them into it 'cause this is just pure art.
@@domi.351or perhaps it’s just they don’t like his style. So be it. They can respect the fact that he’s talented; but at the same time not “liking” his music
I know the line says, "depth" but if you change it to death (both sound very similar) then you get what he's "known for" by main stream media; full of sad music, depressing lyrics, and phenomenal beats.
I hardly ever comment on RUclips videos and my kids and I watch a lot of RUclips videos.Just stumbled onto this following having heard the song What by Tech N9ne and not even halfway through the video I'm liking and subscribing and looking for the bad comment button. Yes loved the song in the beginning and loved everything you were saying about the Tech N9ne and NF song which I was addicted to when I first heard that song I threw my hand up just like that count on one hand who I trust.. So glad this video found me
This was amazing to watch. It's cool to hear you break down tracks and your love for music shows. It's great to learn and hear somebody enjoying lyrics at the same time man, love this.
Yesterday when I heard this song at work my initial thought was that I can't wait to hear your thoughts and breakdown of this song. (Helps me also because english isn't my 1st language although I get most of the lyrics after couple times of listening) Keep it up @Knoxhill!!! Much love and greetings from Finland!
The one line that most people I've seen miss is the Jet Li line. Jet Li had a movie "The One" and tech is saying lyrically elect me as "the one" Edit: Also Tech's nickname given to him by Big Scoop is Donnie Punani so the Donnie you're out of your element line is a double

[Verse 2: Tech N9ne & NF]
Tech N9na, next king up
Everyone knowin' that I'm a death bringer
That lingua vexing ya
Leavin' a regular rapper resting, bruh (Chyeah)
This is what, I give it such
An incredible wicked rush, a vivid gush
Of poetical livid stuff to rid his gruff
Said, I better go rip it rough and I lit it up
The prestige I gather from people lovin' the Tech speed (Whoop)
Lyrically elect me, Jet Li
The beat, it got ya bobbin' until your neck bleed (Whoop)
That is tellin' me "Let's feed"
On the bitter the bogus the hitter will focus
Deliver the doses and give a critter the dopest
Spitter to flow sick and now the quitter corrosive
A swig of the roguish'll give your liver cirrhosis (Chyeah)
The boogie monster rappin' with NF in the hoodie
Want to step into the session and fully conquer
The weapon to lessen our profession go bully bonkers (Chyeah)
Left in a wreck, never checkin' nor could he stomp us
Take his crown
Thought he was gonna make us run away in a battle with his fakish frown
Shake his ground
Like I'm a Mechagodzilla, I'm such a killer when I break it down (Uh)
These flows are the cheat code for the weak Joes
That need those Elite bros with the heat, so
They can eat on the D low
Off a beast yo' ego, got it vetoed (Chyeah)
Please close your beak foes, delete scrolls
Taken from me, thiefs chose to try to decode (Chyeah)
Reload the beat, so I can reach each soul
No cease, no finito, release (Go!)
I am the chosen and everyone is beholdin'
My energy is golden 'cause dominion is being broken
From enemies in the open approachin', I'm never jokin'
The remedy bein' spoken, I'm hopin' that you're soakin' it up (Chyeah)
I'm in the motion, I'm dope and I'm never chokin'
My devotion to floatin' like an ocean, the Holy Ghost and
I'm scopin' the evil folk and revokin' the wicked notion
I'm croakin', I'm really floatin' and quotin' that I'm closin' it up (Chyeah)
Talkin' behind my back
End up where N9ne is at see me and say
Kinda wack, you could not find the knack
Hit you with a rhyme attack freely and spray
I'ma beat you 'cause I'm greedy and slay, if you're creepy and cray
I'ma eat you like PB&J, kiwi and grapes
I'ma demolish 'em when the T be in play, pray!
A stunna recordin' in my number three Jordans
Dungaree sportin', the tongue on me is gonna be scorchin'
The punishin' hunter eat like a hung-ary orphan (Chyeah)
T9 and NF are elephants
In the room without a closet for skeletons
Quit embellishin', a demon from hell is sent
Yell it went, Donny, you're outta your element! (Ayy)
[Chorus: NF]
Look what I, look what I done (Ayy)
Helpin' 'em people I love (I love)
My life is not what it was (No)
I do whatever I must (Woo)
Count on one hand who I trust (Ayy)
Count on one hand who I trust (Yeah)
Count on one hand who I trust (Ayy)
Count on one hand who I trust (Ayy)
Look what I, look what I done (What I done)
Helpin' 'em people I love (I love)
My life is not what it was (No)
I do whatever I must (Woo)
Count on one hand who I trust (I trust; ayy)
Count on one hand who I trust (I trust; yeah)
Count on one hand who I trust (Ayy)
Count on one hand who I trust

@@jaredthebest154xbox and...? It's useful to follow along with the lyrics, does it matter that they were copied? They never claimed to have written them out themselves 🤷♂️
@@jaredthebest154xbox k and?
The flow switches had me mind blown, this song is insane! Respect to T9 on this too!
I like it how Knox explains and reacts to everything that everyone wouldn’t know. The flow and the lyrics. Let’s go
Nobody talking enough about the hook its pure fire
It's kind of crazy how much goes unnoticed until someone breaks it all down.
I love it because it gives you even more respect for the artist(s).
It goes from just being a song, which is great, to being a masterpiece.
The beat switches in this one are crazy! Both of them did a great job
Been waiting for this one! You should check out story next!
That song is fire but its pretty straightforward Knox wouldn't have anything to break down lmao
@@EzioHanitore yeah more react
@@EzioHanitore this dude can break down literally anything
He and Ernest the GOATS
It’s both like NF has done before
First Mixtape (album) where I like every single song.
I agree, this mixtape showed us a whole new NF, I can only imagine what he has planned for the next album
Mac Miller “Best Day Ever” but yes this one is amazing too!!
Okay what... quick question which songs did you not like from previous projects. Not here to judge you I just loved every song on the search and perception.
@@kanamethelegend for me I can't listen to trauma. Way too slow
@@k8rgrl ah
Damn bro I've been waiting for you to react to this one cause it really broke me too😂😂
Tech is in my top 10 DOA. His flow is just too smooth along with the complex rhyme schemes he creates, crazy wordplay,...... Tech is just out of this world. NF holds his own on this track.
Fire breakdown as usual.🔥🔥
8:39 this reminds me of the part where NF says "we walk around with the devil talking on both shoulders" in the song Nate
This was the track I was most wanting to hear and it did not disappoint. Great video Knox!
Dude Tech9 really showed some love to NF on this. So so much love and respect.
"I started recording in my number three Jordans"
Is the slickest way I've heard a rapper express how far they go back in Hip-Hop
in a long time.
Rappers used to always put a
"my raps Go back like" type line in their rhymes
The slicker the rhyme more respect you might merit.
You know T9 had them #3 J's back in the day when they came out cause he has been doing this for a while.
Me too,
"Tech9 an I go back like crooked hats and suicide doors on Cadillacs"
Nah I don't really know him but I've followed his career since 1999.
Great reaction!! Very well thought out. This guy knows what he’s talking about!
I'm waiting for my signed copy of the mixtape to come in the mail, until then I chose to watch/listen through reactors so I'm pumped for this breakdown! Knox is the go-to for this!
Yes this is what I’ve been waiting for all day
You’re honestly the best at reacting and breaking down lyrics. I love your videos please keep up the amazing work!
"Free piece of paper, lines not included" that line is fire! 😅
Been waiting all morning for your breakdown Knox. Wasn’t sure what you’d go for first. Story has a video so I’d do it next.
This reaction worth more views bro you breakdown every lyric in the song ,you, layedbak, and nolifeshaq are the best reaction ever
Let’s go Knox!! Two videos in a day!
Literally just listened to it first time then came here to see if you did the reaction yet cuz I need your epic breakdown
History being made right before our eyes. This track is already legendary ☄🔥
was waiting for this all day ❤️❤️🔥🔥
Same and wat a dope reaction
I'm hoping NF can help him on that journey whatever it may be
How are u bro
This song went hard!!
Just like LAYERS, definitely need to react to that next!
Out of all the people i watch your the only one. That breaks it down keep up the good work bro
NF's music is simply art and I still cannot understand how some people don't like his music. Unfortunately 3 of my close friends won't get into his music... I'm trying my hardest to get them into it 'cause this is just pure art.
This is the only nf song I listen to and it's only for n9nes verse.
@@heretical_habits9512 My sympathies if you don't understand what NF's music does to his listeners and what the meanings are behind his songs
I've learned more about hip hop from knox than everything I've learned from school😂
could you imagine Knox as a high school music teacher? I would have never skipped class.
@@BRUNHILDofficial haha that would be amazing!
Knoxs brain bout to get murdered. Also I wonder how many times we will see sexy chicken in this video, I’m guessing at least 5 times.
sexy chicken is the god of sexiness
That “Donny you’re out of your element!” line is even doper because his middle name is dontez (Donny) 🔥🔥
Haha if you a T9 fan you know it! I was sayin the same thing to myself when he said that haha
I completely agree with every point you were making everything you were getting into detail about exactly I am just like wow I would say it at a lost for words but amazing totally amazing well done and also quite possibly exactly the way I am when I listen to songs by my top favorite artists anytime any day new songs and well-known songs alike don't take this the wrong way or like weird but I think that if we were friends we would have pretty epic conversation. So glad this video found me
Always loved this song, but honestly after your breakdown of it, it became my #1 favorite by NF
I found NF a few years ago but i been rocking with Tech since the 2000's so underrated, both of them! 🔥🔥🔥
Just heard this song today but listening at the gym I wasn’t listening for the lyrics. Had to come to the goat for this breakdown
It's some distorted version of what was in "leave me alone" at the beginning and end.
“Whoever thought something so ugly could be so awesome” my life in a Knox hill quote 🤣🤣
Underrated comment
lmao
This was amazing to watch. It's cool to hear you break down tracks and your love for music shows. It's great to learn and hear somebody enjoying lyrics at the same time man, love this.
So dope he went so crazy with the flows knowing Tech is on it!🔥🔥🔥 this Mixtape is even better than I thought and I knew it would be nasty!!
Yesterday when I heard this song at work my initial thought was that I can't wait to hear your thoughts and breakdown of this song. They both went crazy, I've been listening to it over and over again!
You have the most spot on reactions and I love watching them! (Helps me also because english isn't my 1st language although I get most of the lyrics after couple times of listening)
Keep it up @Knoxhill!!! Much love and greetings from Finland!
Broooo. When I listened to this, my first thought was “I would love Knox to break this down so I can catch more”
Never picked up on the flow changes until you pointed it out I just listened to the words then the beat the next time I listen
The one line that most people I've seen miss is the Jet Li line. Jet Li had a movie "The One" and tech is saying lyrically elect me as "the one"
Edit: Also Tech's nickname given to him by Big Scoop is Donnie Punani so the Donnie you're out of your element line is a double
Love the reactions. Nobody breaks tracks down like you. This is my favorite track on the mixtape. NF and Tech N9ne?! Didn't know I needed this track but so happy we got it. Layers is also fire. Who am I kidding... The entire mixtape is fire.
Levitate by Twenty Øne Piløts. They aren’t necessarily straight up rap artists but Tyler Joseph is definitely able to pull it out when he wants. Their lyrics get super deep too good for breakdowns.
Yes! I love Levitate.
i really like your ability to hear to such a high level. thanks man you showed me what i have missed in NF bar´s in his songs, and it was a LOT. also thank you to introducing me to his music in the first place.
I need more NF reactions
I have to say I really appreciate the way you broke this down. Also mad respect for Tech N9ne and Hopsin in those two features for joining NF in keeping the tracks focussed
"40 seconds ago", damn, earliest I've ever been, noti gang clocking in!
FIRST person I’ve, seen… including friends… notice the Big Lebowski ref ❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
"Devil keep calling me he trying to flirt I hang up the phone these are more then just words" then he states he finally had to sit down with him is really cool...takes it all the way back to therapy session!
Knox man you're my favorite reactor ever. Like some of the songs you react to you let the songs breathe and in that breath you explain the technical nuances so well and the lyrical meaning behind most of the lines. I been in the Knox family over a year now and I'm glad I came when you weren't as well known it's been a joy to watch you and the channel grow. Keep it coming bro I always look forward to your reactions always. 💯👊
The Donnie you're out of your element line is also a double, cause Tech's middle name is Dontez and, in Push Start, he mentions people called him Donnie when he was younger 🔥🔥
Good work on U Mad Yet, got it in the Playlist. Also story is great, probably some of his best work yet
"Is he making movies or music videos? We still don't know."
So true
I already can't wait for you to do Layers. Always love your reactions!
Layers is a great song off NF mixtape Clouds reminds me of Godzilla by Eminem with the flow switches. Also check out the Story video that came out yesterday night
also thats a joke
Layers is FIRE. Gives me that stank face with that beat.
I love ur reaction but i have to hit the like button just for ur intro song! That ish was 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!! You are super talented my man...
All nf fans will be the ppl that understand themselves z most ,thanx nf
1 million subscribers later I still come back to this reaction...
"Who knew something so ugly could be so awesome". It finally happened knox is speaking directly to me. 🤣😭
Well done again, thanks for making this so soon since it dropped last nite.
"cause is he making movies or music videos? We still don't know"
me who already watched and listened to "Story" by NF: I DON'T KNOW EITHER!!
I’ve been bingeing your content for a couple weeks. You make me appreciate the technicals in rap. I love NF, but you’ve my understanding of how good he is to a new level
The first time I listened to this track, the second I heard that ambulance-violin type of sound, I instantly knew that this was why Tech was going to be on this track... It's far too Strange. 🖤
Can't wait for the full mixtape breakdown! AS always, brilliant analysis Knox, thank you so much
